im 36 and havent been in school in numerous years, kind of a reality check coming back after so long. But the transition has been easy, the teachers are amazing, the students are interested and i enjoy college for once. i wasnt ready then, but i am now, and everything is right. single dad, college student, reinventing the wheel.
Overall 4.2
Great college over-all. Has several different locations for easy commute. Lexington, TN campus has some of the best professors I've ever had the privilege to learn from.
Overall 4.2
Overall, I love Jackson State. I think it's a great school, but there are some flaws. The administration side of the school is horrible to deal with, although the people are nice, the system is just messed up. The professors, however, are marvelous. I've met some of the most caring, wonderful, inspiring, motivational, genuine, loving people here.
Overall 4.1
Jackson State was an amazing experience for me. The professors are very helpful, you'll meet friends that become family, and it's a great atmosphere. I loved my experience at Jackson State. I didn't want to leave.

It is horrible, they lost my fin-aid, you will never talk to an advisor, your credits won't transfer. Just don't do it!

None.
Overall 1.3
Jackson State is updated and just straight up dead! Teachers are old, miserable, and almost intolerable altogether. Stay away from the dean's that are teachers and you will do fine. Financial Aid at this institution requires you to fill out enough paperwork to write a book. Customer service is downright crappy.
Overall 1.7
I feel stress out at this school. The professor are than hard a university. Want to go to back old college. Need major Improvement there
Overall 1.8
Overall, this school is just blah and okay, nothing more. Professors double-back as Deans and higher-ups, which is a no no. Customer service is hard to come by, even by the colleges current President. Very closed-minded professors and faculty alike. Go to another school because you will not regret it!
Overall 2
it's a small community college what do you expect
Overall 2
It's a small community college with little to offer aside from a solid nursing program and cheap tuition.
