I went to both the Downtown & Southwest campus. The area is very clean and calm. While attending I never had any issues with security and the education I received was amazing. There are tons of clubs to join and friends to make. I have very fond memories of attending JCTC!
Overall 4.3
Going back to school is the best decision that I ever made!
Overall 4.2
JCTC downtown campus has a lot to offer in ways of helping their students including advisors, tutoring, and online help. Definitely take a GE 100 or FYE 105 class your first semester to learn all the tricks
Overall 4.2
It is an awesome school and if you get involved and join in on events on this campus you are getting the most out of this campus.

aside from a few good professors the only word to describe JCTC is lackluster.
Overall 1
The downtown campus is a crime scene waiting to happen. There are bums, drug dealers, and violent people around every corner. Parking is a joke, and so is the library. The only redeeming quality is the professors
Overall 1.1
One of the biggest mistakes of my life was attending this "school".
Overall 1.1
This place is a joke. The only good thing I can think of is that it does have some great teachers. That's it. You may think its cheap but it ends up costing more. Financial Aid is a joke and they can easily strip you of it for a dumb reason. The administration could care less about the school, they are only in it for money not for education.
Overall 1.2
I am a visiting student for the summer. The hardest school I have ever worked with. Had to call several times to get my email fixed and resend all my information several times before they got it right.
Overall 1.3
This school is a joke! They promise you the world and deliver nothing. Dealing with administrative and financial aid is WORSE then going to the DMV. They put the students last and the teachers next to last. This school is more interested in making a profit then educating America's future professionals. They need to be investigated.
Overall 1.4
I have been here two years I have attended the Shelby campus, Southwest campus, and the Downtown campus. If you even slightly care about your education DO NOT go to this school don't be tricked by its cheap price this school sucks all life out of college. It's better to have some student loans and receive a much better education at a university.
Overall 1.5
Terrible. Don't waste your time here. If you have to, take a year or two off from school and save up the money to go to a better school. It will be worth it trust me!
Overall 1.5
A terrible, disorganized institution. Would not recommend it. Just save up and go to an actual university.
Overall 1.6
The campus and atmosphere feels impersonal, parking and location are a problem and a safety issue. Some difficult classes are based on tests only for grading, no extra credit or quizzes or other assignments.
