I am a sophomore at John Jay and I love this college it gives students the ability to be great. It is a social college! it Is really easily to make a friend so don't be shy. Everyone is polite and respectful. I love the professors. we have good clubs also that helps with interactions. we have a big library and quit areas though out the college.
Overall 5
For a city school... this has everything you need! Location is ideal & the college has the Best Professors!

Great!
Overall 5
only go to this school if you want to do criminal justice, law, politics, public administration, emergency services, the like. this college is a pretty amazing and good school but not it if you want to do something else (ex: anything in health care, teaching, etc)
Overall 5
I love it, it's amazing in every aspect.
Overall 5
they often have career fairs and internships
Bad reviews
Overall 1
The Apple Corps team is unprofessional and constantly leaves things to the last minute such as emailing internship organizations and scheduling time to interview with these organizations. They also dont reply to emails and Natalie Jordan is not helpful to students. Extremely turned off by this program and suggest any new students apply elsewhere.
Overall 1
Don’t go here nobody helps you. The staff are rude. They don’t care about you. I have experienced it from my own advisor who was not willing to help.
Overall 1.3
By far this is one of the worst colleges I have ever been to in my LIFE. I am hoping to transfer just so I do not have to continue my studies here any further. You will be drowned into a deep abyss of despair if you come here. The professors are absolutely terrible, and cannot teach at all, it is ridiculous at how some of these people were hired!
Overall 1.6
Staff don't have professional customer service skills. I'd love to give a few examples of staff in Jay Express & Financial Aid Office, but I am only limited to 350 words. Some peer advisors also require you to take classes that have nothing to do with your major/minor so be aware. They should hire ppl who aren't rude & can ACTUALLY help students.
Overall 2
would not rec. they always place annoying holds on your account and do not communicate with you about it. unless you plan on being a stem major, there is no communication in any other field. profs are never clear with instructions. a waste of time. better off going to community college and giving yourself the chance to explore. pls go elsewhere
Overall 2
The professors here should not be called "Professors". We pay these professors so much money in tuition! How do we benefit from majority of the professors who really do not care about their students loads you with heavy work and expect you to learn on your own and pass?!
Overall 2
Pros: Cheap food, ok wifi, graduate debt free, laptops and PC are everywhere, new building, clean bathrooms Cons: Too many students, small campus(no where to sit), everyone seems into SJW issues, professors are bellow average(ex Sam Baruch, J Epstein), (passive, lazy and unambitious students), like High School. Be smart, don't come here
