Good reviews
Overall 4.5
Great independent law school located in prime downtown Chicago location. I passed the bar on first attempt. Proud to be an alumnus. They are going to merge with the University of Illinois at Chicago. Not so sure I approve of that but they didn't ask me. Update: UIC took over. The school has gone full on woke. Watch the bar passage rate drop.

Amazing school in the heart of Chicago. Good for those who want to be a lawyer but may not have top tier school grades. Professors are over qualified and this school graduates several successful judges, attorneys and politicians.
Overall 4.1
Don't listen to the stereotype. This school is an excellent chance to earn a JD and come out of law school with the practical knowledge needed for law. The legal writing program is top notch and this school prepares you well for legal research. It is expensive to attend JMLS, but the educational value is their.

Bad reviews

The library is terrible. If you have an option to go somewhere else, do it.

Overall 1.6
It is a bad law school with unprofessional students. Reconsider if you want to do anything but become a public defender in Chicago. The administrators at the school are terrible, they do not care about the students and actually work against the students so they do not succeed. Avoid.
Overall 1.8
I hate this place.
