JJC offers many programs available for students to earn an associate degree there. Many JJC professors I had cared about my learning and success. Tuition is slightly inexpensive, which helps me pay less money on student loans after university life. Thank you for making JJC a great college for me! I had an enjoyable experience studying there.

JJC is an amazing community college. There are many clubs that one can get involved in.(Latinos Unidos, Business Blub, International Student Club). The professors are really great and very helpful during their office hours. I transferred to UIC a year ago and had no problem adapting to a big 4 year school. I 100% recommend JJC.
Overall 4.9
If you have any inkling of choosing a community college before a university, DO IT. It is around 1/4 the price per credit hour for starters. There are a multitude of opportunities at Joliet Junior College. I personally switched my major around 5 times and 80% of all college students change theirs at least once. Be smart, save the money.
Overall 4.9
don't go with the negative opinions about going to a junior college, JJC is definitely a great option and a good school.

Really really good school! I was always pleased with my semesters. Some professors are better than others but the school over all was very good

If you are deciding whether JJC is the best option after just graduating from high school, my answer to you would be 110% yes! JJC is a superb community college to go to. I learned so much and created great memories there. I had the opportunity to be involved in many extra-curricular activities and organizations. You will learn to love JJC.

Where do I even start. Some people seem to have the idea that JJC is some kind of a good community college, but I'm not exactly sure what these people are smoking. I have attended both COD and CCC schools and JJC is by far the absolute worst excuse for an educational institution I have ever seen. I wish I could find some redeeming qualities but...
Overall 1.2
A very poor school in a terrible area. Voted worst college town in America. People mostly live far away so clubs are barren. This school has a 15% graduation rate, a 34% transfer rate, meaning 50% of students who go here drop out, and the school doesn't care. It has one of the worst math departments in the state. Don't go here.
Overall 1.5
No opportunities for anything here. No clubs, nothing to do, no way to make friends. Everyone just shows up and then goes home. Very lonely and isolating. Food is very very overpriced for low grade cafeteria food. Don't go here if you have another option, you will regret it.
Overall 1.6
If you want to get a hold of anyone at this school, good freaking luck. I leave voice mails after voicemails with no quick response. The Math department is horrible, the acedmic advising will not help you unless you dig your way into finding the correct people to talk to. If I didnt have to pay for school myself I would not have gone here.
Overall 1.7
No student resources, couldn't even call to get help
Overall 1.9
The professors are hit or miss. I have no social life while at the school even though I have tried. Even when I reach out for help from professors I use will get ignored. I can't wait till I am able to transfer out of this school.
