I absolutely loved my time at Kirkwood! Every staff member and professor is very caring and they always wish the best for you! Campus is very safe and clean and is a short drive to the main part of Cedar Rapids. There are so many clubs to get involved with and campus always hosts activities for students to get involved. I wish I could stay longer!!

Fantastic campus! There is always something going on on campus, so it is easy to stay busy. Campus is extremely safe, close to downtown Cedar Rapids, and clean compared to other colleges. Cafe food is phenomenal but a bit pricey, per usual. Housing opportunities are fantastic and close to campus. Overall, definitely recommend Kirkwood!

Overall 4.5
This school was perfect for me coming out of high school as it was small and very friendly. The area is perfect and no more than a 10 minute drive to find even more food options along with more grocery options as well. The apartments are nice and super close by well within walking distance. The professors are kind and helpful as well. Perfect start

Going to Kirkwood has been my best decision; they offer such a flexible schedule to fit everyone's needs. The huge plus for me is saving so much money and still getting a great education at an amazing school. When you think of Kirkwood you won't think cheap, dirty, and unfriendly, it's beyond great!!

The campus is so spread out and the common areas to do work in between classes are super small and good luck finding a space to sit.
