Overall 4.9
I love Knox. I have grown extensively and wonderfully, with full support of students and faculty and staff. A wonderful, small campus community, involved on-campus clubs, and even Galesburg has grown on me. Expect an applicable, involved liberal arts education with life-long friends, not a large, sports-only school that is very close to Chicago.
Overall 4.9
Knox is wonderful. The small size also allows for wonderful relationships with professors and other students. Knox has such a genuine, loving community of students, staff, and professors that really pushes you to get out of your comfort zone but constantly provides you with support. I love this school.

Knox College is a place of opportunity. All student shave chances to be super involved on campus and all have chances to succeed. We always say we are a human powered experience. And while someone might say that is cliché, well it is true. Everything here at Knox is run through students. We are in fact a human powered experience.

Knox is an incredible school that is generous in aid and attracts students from around the world. I love Knox and feel safe communicating my needs with faculty and staff, and pursuing my passions in academia and extracurricular activities. Galesburg is a fun town with lots of cute shops and good eateries.

Knox should not be anyones first, second, or third choice. I was very excited to transfer here in 2019, but.. The divide between the college/town, unaddressed SA on campus, lack of work/volunteering opportunities, faculty revolving door, money issues, lack of transparency, etc etc... This school has been so frustrating and disappointing for me.
Overall 1.5
The people there are NOT NORMAL. Lets just say that transferring was a very easy decision.
Overall 1.6
Overall sooooo happy I transferred. There are good teachers and academics for the most part. But besides that the place is a nightmare. No matter what school you attend there are strange individuals, however the amount here is literally overwhelming. If you're looking for a great college atmosphere GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, like anywhere else.
Overall 1.7
Galesburg is NOT ideal. The campus is boring and full of the weirdest people you will ever meet. If you have no sense of normalcy you will fit in great! There might as well be no sports with the amount of attention they receive. The food is awful. It is supposed to be a great academic school, but the amount of majors offered is pitiful.
Overall 1.8
liberal arts = not for most.
Overall 1.9
if you click with the community immediately, which plenty of people do, then Knox is a great school. If you don't feel immediately at home though, it gets hard to look past the mess of an administration and the unpleasantness of Galesburg. Between the construction, faculty changes, and budgeting shifts, classes are kind of a mess right now.
Overall 1.9
Knox has very little to offer. The staff are cliquish and rude, class sizes are large, and academic and career guidance is nonexistent. The administration is notorious for covering up abuse and sexual assault. They lie about everything and become angry when students notice. There are many good professors, but that's where the "good" ends.
Overall 2
Knox has to be the place for you for it to work for you. It can very easily not be the place for you.

I graduated in June and knew nothing about how to get a job. I'd asked people at Knox to help me, but they were rude and wouldn't do anything. The location is terrible--you can't even get to a grocery store from campus. Most people who work there are unprofessional and rude. I really wish I had gone somewhere else. I hated all four years there.
