For example, Niche reports 806 undergraduate students, while the Fact Book 2023 mentions a total of 3,231 students for the academic year 2022, with 2,330 of those being undergraduate students. However, the most recent data from 2023 indicates a total enrollment of 3,153 students, with no specific breakdown provided for undergraduate students. Its a great beginning college and all the instructors for the most part are amazing and help you a lot, of course it has its flaws like every school but its a great transition between high school and college for a new freshman! Wish I could finish all my schooling there :)

Overall 4.4
It's a small community college that is growing rapidly and shouldn't be written off as sub-par. The faculty and staff are world-class. As a transfer student to Texas State, I wouldn't trade my experiences at LSC-O for the world.
Overall 4.1
I love how the professors don't have their noses in the air. They are here to teach and they don't mind helping you out with problem areas.
Overall 4.1
I attended Lamar University as well as LIT,the switched to LSCO, which was the best decision! This campus is an hour drive from my house and I would have driven two hours! Everyone from the admissions office, advisors, financial aid, to the librarians and professors are EXCELLENT! In class and online courses are great!

Some teachers are really excellent most or high school ish Security is non existent Grounds at times resemble a landfill The two Maintenance personal can't keep up even if they hired more it appears as if the squeaky wheel gets the grease
Overall 1.8
Teacher's try but some classes seem like elementary school. The grounds are fair for the location of the school. Security is fair they stay out of the way for most part. Maintenance as before mentioned has only two older men but at least they appear always busy.
Overall 1.9
ONLY complaint is the counselors/advisors. Make an appointment to meet with them or you will wait up to 5 hours (no joke), mainly due to the fact they take 2 hours lunches and 2 out of 5 work at once. Also, if you ask question be prepared to be looked at stupid, for taking up their valuable time...
Overall 2
Great teachers good staff except maintenance there is little done on regular basic they only have two people to maintain the whole campus
