Great University. Professors really care and want you to succeed. Class sizes vary. Food variety is ok.

Lander is the best decision I ever made as a student.

I love Lander University, this is a small university but the amount of learning is endless.

I have attended Lander University for 3 years now and I love it. I couldn't imagine attending another university. There are always things that could use improvement, but overall, I highly recommend Lander University.

its awful here. especially the school of nursing. no one cares about your wellbeing or your mental health. the teachers don't care about helping you. Greenwood also sucks. don't come unless you're on scholarship and don't have to pay a dime
Overall 1.1
Im a transfer student that could've gone to Clemson or USC. I chose this garbage dump because of its small size and their promise of being available and helpful towards all their students because of its small size. I made a total mistake. I graduate next December and Lander has absolutely made me hate Education. What I came here for. Worst decision
Overall 1.5
The only benefit to this school are the professors and the small size, otherwise, youre pretty much SOL. The food here sucks, its bland and gross. Good luck getting the internet to work as it lags and cuts out all the time. Higher up staff have no idea what theyre doing and WILL screw up your stuff or tell you the wrong thing.
Overall 1.5
Lander wouldn't be so bad if it were as they advertise it to new students. "Small class sizes, professors who care!" in reality, yes class sizes are small but the majority of professors don't care. They are no help. the location sucks. Go somewhere else
Overall 1.6
If I could do it all over again 10 out of 10 wouldnt have came here. Greenwood is a trash city with nothing to do. If it werent for the small class sizes some amazing professors, and some lifelong friends i would have dropped out.
Overall 1.8
I am going into my senior year and Lander has gotten worse since my freshman year. It keeps growing despite it being a small campus. There are wayyyy too many students for it to be a small school. There are fewer small classes. It is harder to find actual teachers that care and that are willing to work with you as this place advertises.
Overall 1.8
Greenwood is sketchy and there isn't much to do. i am disappointed in Lander.
Overall 2
I don't know if it was just because of COVID or if this place sucks this much all the time but this was my freshman year and it was terrible. If you're not on a sport team or in greek life you will not make any friends, the housing is bad, the food is usually bad, most of the teachers suck and there is nothing to do in Greenwood. Go somewhere else.
