Good school. Took here a couple of classes this semester. Very big campus. I am honestly surprised that community college can be so good. It is close to the bart and the professors here are super nice, as well as the campus. Also, they are giving away free food. Nice community college overall!

Classic OAKLAND environment!
Overall 1.4
Worst school ever! I have had the most difficult time at this school and it has nothing to do with the classwork. The classwork from the teachers is average, but the student body is lame, the counselors are the least helpful, no one knows anything in any of the offices. This place is a nightmare to navigate. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
Overall 1.5
The councelers at Laney are very discouraging. They always seem like they don't want to be at work. They take breaks all day. They never have any recommendations. They don't follow up with you. They are rude and unfriendly!!!!

School need to improve on helping student and need to be organized
Overall 1.6
It's a pretty run down campus - there a gigantic building that's not even in use and very limited common area seating. Despite this, the library and the computer labs are decent though.
Overall 1.6
not that safe, wifi not so good, financial aid VERY SLOW, not clean
Overall 1.7
