I wouldn't attend. The counselors, teachers jut everyone here do not tell you all the information you need to know.

It is in the bad part of Birmingham. Staff is not helpful, but it depends on who you go to.

Lawson State is 'ok'. The place could use a good cleaning, a coat of fresh paint and electronics actually from this decade. And don't expect a working clock or water fountain anywhere. However, the school is very laid-back and easy with cool teachers. Lawson is great for getting pre-reqs done or a GPA boost before transferring to another college.
