Good reviews

I have had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Liberty University. I am here to rate my professor, with low marks but the University itself is amazing. I have been supported, encouraged, blessed, and so excited each day to be a part of the Liberty University school. I am an older learner and feel truly blessed to be where I am. God bless!

God has blessed us with this college. Highly recommended!
Overall 5
Super accommodating, endless opportunities for degrees and formats to obtain them. Truly feel heard and understood by the community and supported by the professors.

This school is great, I would recommend to anyone who loves the Lord and wants to be in a awesome college community.

Great school. Great education
Overall 5
LU has given me so many opportunities. The campus is clean, professors have graduates from Harvard, Oxford, and Edinburgh.
Overall 5
Biblical Christian worldview is great!
Overall 5
There's nothing like Liberty! If you aren't a Christian you probably wouldn't enjoy it. But the atmosphere is awesome. The social life is awesome. The football and basketball experience is incredible.

I am an online student so some of the ratings are based on virtual perception. I love this school.

Liberty University has been a great opportunity for learning online. It offers many resources for students, like myself, who was unfamiliar with the college process. The professors are caring and understanding, though online can minimize the personal connection. Overall, Liberty University is a great Christian college!
Bad reviews

I was criticized and threatened by a Liberty office. It's astounding the level of maltreatment they have put me through. If I had the foresight, I would have never enrolled with this university. If you are thinking about enrolling, don't. They care only about getting your money and sending spam emails begging for more, while pushing you aside.
Overall 1
One semester was enough to see that Liberty is a fake Christian university, hiding behind the facade of God to get your money. The quality of education is terrible, the Administrators are uncaring of borderline illegal activities that occur, and my personal safety was in jeopardy every day. I should've read the reviews prior to attending.

They treated me like garbage and the instructors were very bad.

From reading the reviews this University is a tale of two universities. For the on campus students, it sounds like they are having a great experience. As an online student it feels like I am a second class student, as the professors are typically D tier at best. Most online work feels like little more than busy work.
Overall 1
Online student. I'm not sure about their facilities, food, or internet, but if their preference for professors and lack of care for students is an indicator, then I'd be correct in those ratings as well. I genuinely feel that Liberty did not like me as a student. I am a minority and they treated me like a second-class person. Despicable.

I was just dropped from a course, unexpectedly and without any notice whatsoever. They kept my Financial Check-In money and posted it as an account “credit”. They're making me go through loops just to get my funds returned back to my payment account. I see, based on other concerns, that this seems to be a trend with Liberty.

I have been here for almost 2 years and have a full time job. They drop you from the course for the smallest issue and then request u pay more money. Its a scam and the professors are nice for the most part but this past semester they have been a nightmare. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
Overall 1
All around, bad experience. Liberty pushed all of my issues aside. When I was having technical issues, no one cared and they took their time. They even blamed me about the issues, which is bizarre. Student Services is the same way. For a Christian university, I expected much better. I am very let down.

I used to love LU, but things shifted in the last year. The education & quality of instruction have gone downhill drastically. I also dread calling the Registrar or Student Services because they seem so burdened by my inquiries. I am weighing my options on transferring to a more education-focused university that doesn't mind student questions.

Degree mill. The school hates its students. I left and went somewhere that truly wants me to grow.
