You don't fully realize how wonderful Linfield really is until you leave. The small class sizes allow for the professors to truly know you and they take the time to get to know you. The student body is overall engaged and happy. The size can be annoying at times but the students are really open and non judgmental for the most part.

Love It!

Great school overall that can lead to fantastic opportunities after graduation if you put the work in. If you want to have a great 4 years at Linfield its possible and if you want to make it a bad 4, it is also possible but it is up to you to decide.
Overall 4.2
I think small schools are wonderful. Many of the professors really try and learn everyone's name in the class and really care a lot about their students. I don't think anybody feels alone on this campus. There really is something for everyone and help for anything is always available.

Love life on campus just not so much the surrounding trashy town

Linfield is a great school, you will meet your life long friends here!

Linfield has been my dream college since I was in middle school. The campus is beautiful. The teachers are better than I ever could have expected. The location is great. I live off-campus, though, so I couldn't tell you much about "life on campus," but I hear the food is great, and the living situation is nice.

Great school! It's gaining popularity and more and more people are hearing about it which is great! It's a hidden gem that is becoming known!
Bad reviews
Overall 1.3
The academic counselors are not helpful. Most of the administration will ignore the students requests and questions, but expect tuition to be paid on time. The Internet and most of the on-line programs fail weekly. No creativity is exercised in problem solving or curriculum. I dont recommend this school to anyone.
Overall 1.6
Linfield claims to care for students but in reality doesnt put in the work to back up those claims. I was so excited to go to Linfield and I have been very disappointed. While the campus is nice- the food is terrible, the campus security is no help and cares more about getting you in trouble rather than keeping you safe. Its not all it seems.
Overall 1.6
Middle of nowhere town. Walmart is the entertainment. Dorms &. dining halls are nasty. 94% acceptance rate and average high school GPA is 3.0 There are very few nursing programs in the state and if it wasn't for the massive scholarship Linfield gave me I wouldn't be here
Overall 1.7
Great Education, poor social life. It's very much like a high school in terms of social life. There are cliques. The surrounding town has very little to offer, although their is a new water park of sorts being opened soon. This place has a good reputation in the pacific NW, but outside of that not many people know what Linfield or Mcminnville is.
Overall 1.9
Linfield is a great school, but it just wasn't for me. If you aren't immeditaely a part of a friend group you'll feel like you don't belong, so in the social sense it's a lot like high school.

super boring, if you're an active person look elsewhere.
