I love the Lipscomb community! The campus is located in the Green Hills area, which is about fifteen minutes away from Downtown Nashville. The campus is beautiful, and everyone is friendly.
Overall 4.8
I transferred to Lipscomb in 2022, and it took me a semester to get connected, but now that I am, it's amazing! I feel very connected with people on campus, there are a lot of cool clubs to get involved in, and the professors are kind and very knowledgeable. The food was a bit bad, but it has been better after receiving student feedback.
Overall 4.8
It's a really cosy campus, and a relatively small university. By the time you graduate, you'll know the campus super well, and get to know most of the professors & faculty members. The location is in the green hills area, which is really nice

I am a Biology major & though we have the worst building on campus, we have THE BEST professors! ALL the professors at LU I have had have made 85% of my experience. The campus is beautiful & kinda in a bubble but downtown is right around the corner. PARKING STINKS but improving. Overall, I LOVE LIPSCOMB! Haven't met a mean person here. Sad to go.
Overall 4.5
So many opportunities to have tuition paid; students, teachers, and faculty are helpful; events and activities are so much fun and helps with making new friends; the environment is peaceful and calming; the cafeteria makes GREAT food; so much school spirit; classes simply open your mind. I love it here!

You are forced to do a lot of dumb extra stuff. Some professors are good
Overall 1.7
freshman need not apply. Atleast if you are planning on living on campus. you have a curfew. you are expected to tell head residents where you are at all times. you have to sign in and out, just to go home. Its like living in a prison. I really feel stifled. and plan on transferring because this school is OUTRAGEOUS! everything is just ridiculous.
Overall 1.9
I transferred to Lipscomb University for only 2 semesters and transferred elsewhere due to its lack of support and kindness. The staff were racist towards me and the religious courses were forced upon every semester. Tuition is expensive. I had a terrible experience and all students there were uptight and cocky. No sense of belonging whatso ever.
Overall 1.9
Lipscomb is very controlling. I feel like I am in high school, not a university. no parking, cafe is closed on saturdays, everyone leaves on the weekends, curfew, 30 hours of chapel credit, math department is terrible. I could go on and on, but there is a 350 character limit.
Overall 1.9
None.
Overall 2
Not the university for you if you want your education to be the top priority.
