The Dean's Tea and Dean's Honor List certificates at the end of the year make this the best community college in California to go to. The only thing that I wish they had is more Vegan food trucks and a Vegan restaurant. Thank you!

My first educational experience started at LACC and I successfully transferred to UCLA. Without resources and amazing faculty mentors, I could not make this.
Overall 5
The school is in a great location and there are many students from all over the world who come here. There are no food options on campus but across the street, there are endless restaurants. I loved my time here and would never change it if I could. The campus feels like a park although it is in the center of the city. I love this place so much.

best college ever

What can I say? LACC has changed my life. Where else can a person 35+ years old go back to school and continue their educational goals? LACC has made so many things possible for me, I will be forever grateful. When I make some more money (soon!), I will be making a yearly donation.

Professors are very helpful

I loved this campus. The view from the 3rd floor library is unreal. Unfortunately I had to move away to Sacramento so I was not able finish school here. I loved how diverse the people where. I met people from all over the world. It was something I will never forget. Great location and plenty of History

Its the night before the start of the semester and I just now got an email saying I have class tomorrow. Theres been no schedule for my classes it just says tba on the website. The music department dosnt answer emails. I have no way to plan for school and work without the schedule I guess I should just cancel my life until they get it Together

You are literally better off going anywhere but here. The student services. the clubs. the financial aide. the professors. the facilities could not care less about you. They just want you to sign up for as many classes as possible so they can milk you for grant money and kick you to the curb. Look at the transfer/ graduation rate.

This community college is the worst college you can ever attend. You know how bad a college is if your experience at that school tells you that about 90% of the instructors are awful. fresh out of high school most likely to fall victim to this college. Of all the qualify schools in LA you have chosen this one. - huge mistake.

Stay away, there are better community colleges in the area.

You would expect LACC to be a good, well maintained school given its location but sadly it's a dirty school infested with bedbugs. The counselors along with majority of staff don't believe in their students nor do they do everything possible to help. The horrible food is overpriced & the school atmosphere is as dead as LACC's future building plans.

seems all the remote employees are just kicking it. not once single depot answers the calls or the phones at any given time. but whats new here? right? those who know this campus will agree! been trying for weeks operation never answers phone nor returns calls either.
Overall 1.3
College should be about achieving goals and happiness. Thanks to LACC financial aid I am facing financial ruin. They ruined my paperwork multiple times, then granted me cal grant and asked for it back after I spent it. I am now defaulting on my credit cards. This school is dysfunctional and have no regard for their students.
Overall 1.3
Honestly, LACC is the least well maintained community college that ever existed. All other community colleges make LACC look like a joke. There's no social life, clubs are struggling to survive, bad quality food that's overpriced and absolutely no help from counselors. Half the faculty like admissions, financial aid look unhappy with their jobs.
Overall 1.4
I only attend because I take 1 course that isn't offered at GWC. LACC staff is incredibly incompetent, unhelpful, and ignorant; they're useless! Teachers are meh but the location is ghetto and unsafe. For a school that truly cares about the students, go to Golden West College. Otherwise, if you desire stress and uncertainty, LACC's got you covered!
Overall 1.5
This campus is disgusting. The student union, financial aid, counseling is a joke. In a bad spot in LA. Wouldnt recommend coming here.
