Ever since I came back to school after taking a break for a couple of years I got treated with so much kindness and just got that welcoming feeling throughout all of the programs. As a STEM major all my classes here have been great I have had a consistent 4.0 GPA, I recommend coming to Southwest college! They have amazing help and benefits as well!

This school is ghetto, don't even bother coming here.

If you want to learn stay away from this school. It is such a shame, the professors are wonderful, but the student body is full of lazy thugs who make it hard to learn in class because all they do is disrupt everything.

The campus is looks awesome, except the bungalows where all of the science classes are located. Bathrooms & classes are filthy all the time. Ants and roaches in class. Some of the admin. staff are rude, no customer service skills AT ALL. The ACCJC should do a pop up visit to this school, to see how people are treated. Had two amazing instructors

The campus itself will be really nice after all the renovations are finished but the bathrooms in the child development building are gross. I honestly will not be returning to this school because it does not live up to the standards that they say they have. I am dissapointed in the quality of education I have gotten and the professors.

This school has did some remodeling but the campus was influx for 2 plus years before they completed it this semester. Most of the student has enrolled in other community colleges. The Math Department is suffering, no tutors in the math lab and students having to repeat math 2 times, or leave for another college.

School is in the uglier part of LA. Did not feel safe. The majority people that attend do not seem to be serious about their education. Some good teachers though. School does have a lot of work to do, and they need better help. School is under construction so a lot of resources are not available.

It's a ghost town. Despite It's a community college, it certainly does not give one the college experience. The counselors dissappear for long periods of time but they're nice. And its small and not many activities to do.
Overall 1.9
I only took a class online but I can see how badly the education is. The professor David Bell is awful he never replies to my emails or requests for office hrs. The special ed dept never take the phone for like a month with no explaination and they never granted me my accomidations for the class. The teacher was super not understanding.

This is probably one of the worst colleges in LA. Financial aid is no help at all. You have to email every single day to finally get a response & when you do they have major attitude & have not even looked at your previous emails. Make this a last resort college.
