Nice college
Overall 4.8
If LSU has your major, then you'll probably be just fine coming here. Education, food, and social environment are all great. I wouldn't say that the college is a party school because you'll be happy partying or not. The campus is absolutely beautiful. Many complained that there aren't many lights out at night, but they're currently working on that.

Amazing
Overall 4.7
I love being on lsu’s campus. They are taking precautions as to the campus not having much lighting at night, and the buildings being a little run down but other then that it’s an amazing opportunity for students to bring their individual lives away from home.
Overall 4.6
I've been here three years and loved it. The staff and faculty are amazing, I've found several interesting opportunities for academics and work. The food is good but overcrowded. Campus is beautiful and easy to navigate. Traffic gets heavy near campus but its location isn't bad. The one downside is safety is lacking and campus police are a joke.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.5
Do not go here unless it is the only choice you have, i am a graduate student so i know what a good college looks like and this is a swampy humid hellhole that is superrrr dangerous to live in. Not to mention they will charge you for absolutely everything here. Seriously dont go to this school unless you want to be mugged and depressed
Overall 1.9
Please do not come here! LSU has worst safety! Rape and theft everywhere. Teaching faculty some of them are good but the class size is huge with 100 - 250 or more students in one class! All the freshman level class in Sciences are large. LSU exploits everyone, students, teachers and custodians! LSU Bus 5 miles around campus is horrible.
Overall 2
I absolutely hated going to LSU. The campus is constantly under construction which makes navigating by car or even foot virtually impossible. If you are handicapped I would highly consider another school. LSU has a great reputation, yes, but they are in the business of making money. If you aren't a student athlete they simply do not care about you.
