I love this school
Overall 4.8
Lower Columbia College is a college full of caring staff. I love it here and they help me climb my ladder to success. I love it here! Thank you to all the staff at LCC for helping me in my life!
Overall 4.7
Lower Columbia College is the bomb. Although some days are better than other, there is consistent lack of parking but you always find something. The people are rather nice compared to most places in the real world. Also, joining clubs is probably the best decision I could have made!!
Overall 4.2
This is a very nice college, and the first one I've been to. For it being a community college, it's a very nice area and easy to get around. They have a very wide range of professors, as all colleges do, but the ones so far, even if stubborn, have proven to be very helpful to me, personally, which proves to me that the professors here do care.

A wonderful cost friedly school!
Overall 4.2
LCC feels like home! Every staff member I have spoken to has helped me or offered to help me. They truly want us to succeed. I couldn't ask for more.
Overall 4.1
This school has fantastic and kind staff. They are willing to help you at every turn. As is valid with all colleges, there are professors you should avoid and others you can't get enough of.
Overall 4.1
LCC is a great place to get started
Overall 4
I had a very good experience at LCC and would recommend it to people. Club and social opportunities are definitely lacking, but that have gotten better since COVID. They actually started up a SAGA club recently! And the cafeteria is actually really great and affordable. Easy to get around campus and good food options nearby for off campus eating.
Overall 4
The atmosphere here is pretty nice. There is a very diverse population of students so it's great to be able to talk to people that have already had many life experiences or help those that are just fresh to adulthood. The instructors are great for the most part and the school staff is always working hard to provide great opportunities for students.

Where do I begin. Name calling, childish teachers, a very poor administration, crappy, overpriced food in the cafeteria, financial aid is anything but helpful, and the student body is of poor caliber. I was disappointed in my experience and there's no way whatsoever that my children will waste their time and money here like I did.
Overall 1.1
As a participant in a re-training program, I found both the teachers and counselors fans of insult culture and harassment. Oftentimes, people attend college at their lowest. By that I mean, no job, poor as dirt, marital problems due to lack of income, etc., and LCC was nothing but trash to me. I regard my time at LCC the worst of my life.
Overall 1.1
My son and I were a bit skeptical about him attending LCC this fall and as it turns out, all of the extremely poor things we'd heard about the school have proved true. His whole experience from the first day to now has been, as he put it, CLOWNISH on the part of administration and the faculty. Next quarter he'll be attending Clark College in Van
Overall 1.2
Overall, my experience for two years here has been a bit atrocious. Nothing ever seemed to work right. Whether it was financial aid tripping over their own feet to getting extremely poor advice from my advisor to some teachers seeming like they should be teaching middle school instead. Not my best two years.
Overall 1.4
There are a few decent teachers here. A few. I've had some that I wouldn't let train my dog. Seriously. Oh, and if you make a truthful complaint about a teacher, prepare to have your name dragged through the mud and be humiliated by all of your teachers as I have. Worst experience of my life. Fact.
Overall 1.4
Very poor rating due to lack of good advisors and guidance.
Overall 1.5
I have just completed a 5 quarter certificate of proficiency with a great GPA. Overall, the childish behavior of teachers and administration, the lackluster performance of financial aid, and the minute mart food served in the cafeteria, it has to be said that there is very little to respect at LCC, if anything. I wont be sending my kids there.
Overall 1.5
The faculty in the student center and the computer lab should find new careers because they do not know how to treat students. They always seem bent out of shape if you ask questions. Correct me if I am wrong but isnt it there job to help students? There are a lot of great people at LCC too but not nearly enough. The campus is under construction al
Overall 1.6
Advisers are misleading, registration and financial aid staff act like doing their job is an inconvenience. A few really good teachers and a lot of teachers who have no business teaching.
Overall 1.8
The education materials are as outdated as the college itself. Book costs are extremely high. If they focused more on the education of the students and less on "Equity" and "feelings" maybe you could learn something. Instead of being a higher learning school it seems like it is an extension of the high school next door.
