I took the Child and Youth Care Program,I graduate this upcoming June and had a fantastic experience at Loyalist. As an Indigenous person I felt very welcomed by my professors, they showed so much compassion for Indigenous issues and never made me feel singled out.The Indigenous resource centre was fantastic as well,it feels like its own community.

Like any college you get out what you put in. The nursing program at Loyalist is fantastic. Teachers genuinely care about not only your academic achievement, but about you personally as well. Any time I have encountered a classmate with bad feelings towards staff it is usually due to their poor effort.

Love love love my professors in the Early Childhood education program

It's an amazing college. I'm taking culinary managment and we have the best chefs in the province. They are preparing us for the industry, and the program is evolving with the industry. We have the most practical in the country, and what we learn in class we will use every day. There is so much I can say, but I've run out of characters

Switched here from Seneca Newnham Campus and I love it here. It may not have many fancy things or many clubs but every thursday is a great pub night, everyone is friendly, teachers are helpful and its just a great learning environment and way better place to be than Seneca. As you can see below a lot of people complain, old school w/ new computers

If you are looking for science programs, do not look at this college

Great school, only problem is staff doesnt care, security is an absolute joke, most of the security guards smoke joints with students, alot of the faculty puts next to no effort in and takes the easy route for them as opposed to the fair and reasonable route when solving issues on campus, no student input is ever considered, pub sucks terribly

I hate this school. Worst two years of my life. I will never recommend anyone to go to this place. Anyone looking for an education should go somewhere else.
Overall 1.2
The education I received at this school can be considered below average. The campus is not located near anything (groceries, leisure) and there is nothing positive to be said for the food and entertainment on campus. Many of the courses (specifically communications) which are forced upon the students teach them nothing they actually need to know.

I think Loyalist could be good if you go for the right program but that wasn't the case for me. I went for Sports Journalism and it was a joke; the program doesn't even exist anymore. Ancient equipment and an awful location only accessible by one route. I regretted going there a month in but it was too late to drop out and get a refund.

worst decision to study at this college. zero value in market. nobody want to hire students from this college.

Ive done one semester so far and I want to drop out. From the out dated décor, sub par café, the "workout facility" -now that's a joke, to the high parking fee you pay for next to no spots. The school SUCKS! You can tell the staff don't care about the students, or at least in my program. Heard the nursing program is top notch though.
