Great Experience.

I learned a lot

This school has a lot to offer, so make the most of it. Living near Chicago is so fun, and taking the L is so convenient. The food is actually so good, and there are a lot more options compared to other colleges.

nice school fun campus

Best four years of my life. Loyola is what you make out of the experience!
Overall 5
Loyola has the best view of the lake shore. Everything around Loyola is pretty close as far as stores for everyday items. If you are looking for a school where Greek life is big, Loyola is definitely not an option. But if you are someone who loves going out and trying new things this is the best place to do it. Downtown Chicago is close by too.
Overall 4.8
My experience is good so far. I am happy since I got an apartment close to school. There are lots of restaurants and attractions so life is cool in general.
Overall 4.8
Loyola is a great school
Overall 4.8
Beautiful campus and so many opportunities. Dining halls have a great variety. Residential halls really aren't bad compared to other colleges and they do the best they can with safety in the city. Make the most of your opportunities here. Also, for being a catholic school, religion isn't necessarily shoved in your face if you dont want it to be.
Overall 4.8
Loyola is a very nice school and a good education. Nice campus, people, clubs, location, and I love my time at Loyola so far!

second day and i hate it. don't waste your money go to community college
Overall 1.1
Chicago is an icky city if you know the city and are okay with it you probs will be fine. Loyola is a good school but the students and curriculum is "woke" to a fault. If you have a (even slightly) different opinion or experience from the primarily liberal students/staff, beware, they get aggressive if you disagree with them
Overall 1.4
It is terrible here it's high school 2.0, you're better off literally anywhere else. Everyone is rude, the city is dirty, there are shootings and sexual assaults around campus constantly.
Overall 1.4
When I see a student tour group come through, I want to shout at them DO NOT COME HERE. The administration is EMBARAASSING. Horribly irresponsible and unresponsive. Forget you have any advisors at all -they are evasive in responding if they do at all, unknowledgeable and oh, they crammed students into rooms without even enough desks during COVID.
Overall 1.6
I'm currently a freshman, I grew up in a big college town in Wisconsin (Go Badgers) and the culture shock going to a city school has prompted me to transfer lol! Hardly any social life unless you join a frat/sorority (which I cannot afford) and it's soooooo expensive. Very much not "the college experience" I want.
Overall 1.6
Its literally hell
Overall 1.7
Absolutely terrible school. If you are thinking about going to a university for stem, DO NOT GO HERE. The new system for science is horrible. They do not support you and they will not help you succeed.
Overall 1.9
Professors are great, but the uni is severely lacking resources and underpaying staff which trickles down to students. $ is funneled into executives' and coaches' pockets rather than into the school itself. Overall, the administration doesn't care about the student body, they even ignored a student serial rapist. For the price you can find better
Overall 1.9
The social aspect of Loyola is horrible! It is so incredibly cliquey, and feels almost exactly like a high school social environment. As well there tends to be a large groups of people who are incredibly snobby here.
