great School overall

LOYNO gives you so many opportunities to network and develop your personal brand and interests. All of the professors genuinely care about your well being and if you are in class or not. There are always concerts put on by students and festivals being held in the city. No one really needs a car because the streetcar passes right by the campus.
Overall 4.6
This is an excellent institution with dedicated faculty and staff. The opportunities provided are on par with other similar universities. The location is great for students and relatively safe.

Everyone is really nice!
Overall 4.5
I love Loyola. I have never had a better social experience than here. I feel like I cannot walk around campus without getting a hug. Everyone is so nice to one another. The food is awesome because there are shared resources with Tulane. The library is amazing and basically becomes home. Also, there are tons of resources like an on-campus food bank.

For the price, you can get a MUCH better education on a campus with MUCH better living conditions than these which are filled with mold and mildew and lots of dirt and bugs due to construction. The professors are great but the education is average at best. I wish I would have transferred elsewhere to get my money's worth. Oh well.
Overall 1.8
New Orleans is awesome city to attend college in. Just know whats what and dont venture off unless you are in a group. Loyola itself would be nothing if it were not located in New Orleans. The school is old and dated and needs a drastic makeover. Its advertised as a catholic school but thats in name only. Thats the saddest part of it all.
Overall 1.8
This school needs to improve all around student body, academically, staff, professors, safety, alcohol/drug abuse, mental health of students. I had the worst time of my life here. Loyola is currently having $ issues. About 30 students attend mass that live on campus Plz don't come here! Not worth the full ride I was offered.I am transferring

Very antiquated university that lost all of its culture that it was built on. Might as well be a non religion based and public university now.
Overall 2
Its technically a catholic university but youd never know that once you are on campus. Very alternative student base here. Not saying thats bad just saying thats the reality of it here and is Helpful to know. Nola is awesome city though and lots to do for whoever you are.

not a fan. Transferring soon to get away from this environment. It can be very hostile
