The curriculum of this college is Ivey League work. Yet your degree will say MSC and employers will then research and find that you went to a cheap clown school in the middle of Georgia, make a collective assumption, and hire the next person. Happy studying!

I've had to go to the Financial Aid center over 10 times to get my money straight. They have horrible workers.
Overall 1.8
If I'd had a choice I would have gone anywhere but Macon State. Their administration is lacking in organization, their teachers are sub-par at best and they completely ignore any input from their students. If you have a choice go anywhere but here.

Don't let the fact that this school is cheap influence your decision. This school is very tough and if you are not serious about school then don't come here. You will not enjoy your experience here.

Macon state is not a very good school. I always heard that they make all of their classes hard to achieve more prestige, but the school really is just a ridiculous community college who is out to shoot your gpa in the head. You are better off going anywhere else - especially where classes are twice as easy and your degree will be twice good.
Overall 1.9
Most teachers here do not seem to care about their students. Macon State cares about getting your money and they act as though they have to make a point. Don't let the cheap tuition fool you.

It is a good college for your money, but there isn't a lot of fun things to do at the college like some bigger colleges.
