Small College in the big city, everybody knows everyone, you are more than "Just a number".
Overall 4.7
Only thing I don't like about it is that there are no college parties.

I like the college a lot but I wish the college wasnt that expensive.

NYC best hidden college
Overall 4.5
When I went to Marymount I enjoyed the city life and all that it has to offer. Also, I enjoyed getting to visit the museums like the Met, Moma, and Whitney.

Great college
Bad reviews
Overall 1.3
MMC is awful, the academics are easy verging on boring, none of the professors want to teach and it shows, the administration has no clue how to handle anything, and it feels like you're back in middle school, taking the same classes you took in middle school. 0/10

There is almost no socialization, incredibly small cliques of friends(roommates). The classes are not challenging and it is easier than high school. High focus on theatre/dance, everything else is a minority. Most students want to transfer after 1st semester. Do not go here, not even just for the NYC opportunity. Would barely consider it "college".
Overall 1.5
Terrible school, no money and yet the tuition is higher than anyone can justify, and the people are the worst. The only good thing about it is that it's in New York. But then again, so are quite a few other great schools. Don't waste your time at this place.
Overall 1.6
Terrible school, should not be accredited as a liberal arts college. Only performing arts majors get focus. Inconsiderate staff, inefficient in every manner, ill-equipped adjunct professors. Would not recommend to anyone, unless they are a dance major. Expensive school with little to nothing in return for your money.
Overall 1.7
This school was very depressing to attend. Very cliquey, you won't make any friends if you're not dancing or musical theatre. Way too boujee and not wallet-friendly for low-income students. Overwhelming workloads from professors, and a huge lack of diversity. It's nothing but white kids who scream and drink out their Stanley cups all day.

Please, for your own sake, do not attend this school unless you plan on wasting tens of thousands of dollars on a worthless education. Every person I met this year that I attended left due to a variety of reasons. I met maybe 2 people who actually enjoy it here.
Overall 1.8
I didn't know about MMC but I gave it a chance. Hard to be a part of the community as a commuter. Dorms are far too expensive & the tuition is absurd. I like the courses & majors offered. Some really good professors. Small school, class sizes, pro LGBT. Go here if you are a dance or theatre major. Very cliquey. Barely any racial diversity.
Overall 1.8
This school doesn't cater to commuters, definitely more for people coming from out of town that's a dance, theater or communication major. Harder to feel apart of the school as a commuter, dormers keep mainly to themselves. Professors and some people are friendly. Plan to transfer in my spring semester, not worth the expensive tuition.
