Seriously the best choice that I could have possibly made for college. I love the professors, the students, the staff..everything is absolutely perfect...

Mercyhurst is a beautiful campus and has a great community surrounded by the great city of Erie.
Overall 4.4
I love Mercyhurst. It is a very small campus, and I know that a lot of people, as freshman, already feel as if they know everybody. But your classes are small, your professors genuinely care about you, and there's always someone new to meet. Coming from a small town, I feel like the smaller campus inside of a small city is a perfect step for me.

I love Mercyhurst. The community truly becomes your home.

Mercyhurst has an amazing reputation and for good reason! I was always provided with a great education that covered all areas, great professors and small enough classes that they know you by name. Campus life is great- always something to do or somewhere to go, even in the snow! A little expensive, but worth the bills. Best decision I've made
Overall 4.3
The education program at Mercyhurst is one of the best education programs around, as they are sure to immerse education majors in every background, including special education. Every education major at Mercyhurst University is equipped with the knowledge and ability to accomidate to those with special needs in the classroom.

Absolutely loved my time here. Everyone is super nice and all the teachers I had were great. Loved playing hockey here as well and all of the various sports and clubs were great.

Prospective students beware. Mercyhurst claims that you will be a well-rounded student because of it's a liberal arts school, wrong. You take half of your classes that don't pertain to your major at all and end up dropping your GPA. Registrar and financial aid are never there to help. It's a waste of money for a sub-par education. Go elsewhere
Overall 1
This is honestly one of the worst schools. I regret attending this school for as long as I did. From the bad food to the poor safety measures, Mercyhurst has to be one of the worst schools out there. I wouldn't even bother reaching out to academic support they won't help you even though they claim that's their job. Also MU takes mental health joke.
Overall 1.2
I found Mercyhurst to be extremely dull. The weekend life was horrible, and during the week there was no activities of involvement in the quad. Overall the school was boring and I transferred as soon as I could.
Overall 1.2
Horrible decision to go to this school. Just like a high school. If you want to continue to stay in a childish state of mind, this school is wonderful for this. Closed mindedness runs deep through the veins of the people who attend the school. Good Luck to whoever attends, cause you'll need it!
Overall 1.7
Things are not learned in school (had to teach myself in better ways at home) and surpassed the obstacles. Was really fooled by this, and feel like I have added to them more than they have to me! Not an educational way whatsoever!
Overall 1.7
I want to put this place so far behind me.
Overall 1.7
It sucks here if you are not an athlete.
Overall 1.8
Its so hard to make friends if you commute and dont do any sportseven harder if you major in interior Architecture because the building isnt exactly on campusthe reach classes and freshman/senior experience classes are a waste of time. I could have taken classes that pertained to my major instead.
Overall 1.8
Mercyhurst has a beautiful facade its when you get on the inside is where there are the problems. The funding of programs is terrible and leaves room for several weak programs. The food is repulsive; I wouldnt give it to my dog. They also dont care about if a student is being harassed because theyll have the harasser be the face of the school.
Overall 1.8
Mercyhurst is a place that disappointed me in many different areas. Primarily, there is no motivation for students to improve themselves. This contributes to the lack of academic challenges provided by some professors. Dealing with financial services and reslife was a nightmare. In general it's not that bad of a school but be ready for winter.
