Great school with great teachers. They have multiple places to eat, study, or do whatever you need to do on campus. Faculty make you feel apart of something. I'm glad I chose this school.

I absolutely love this school!!

The Professors here are amazing . They are always willing to go out of their way to help.
Overall 4.9
The best University you can think to ever attend
Overall 4.8
Great school, only downside is the wifi isn't always the best - and this year in 2023 they took away some food places that you could use your meal swipe at and that was disappointing but not too important - but otherwise this is a perfect school. I would definitely recommend this school over other TN colleges.

It’s great ?

I attended in 2019 and it was overall an amazing experience. The professors were knowledgable and were willing to go above an beyond to help you. Plenty of seating spaces in common areas. I can't speak for the dorms as I lived off campus. But, I lived right down from the campus and it was conveniently located.

This is really a good school to attend. They just should work on the the internet
Overall 4.6
If you care about your education and career then this school is perfect. The professors are extremely knowledgable and the staff actually cares and works WITH you rather than against. The communication is the best I've ever seen at a college throughout their entire staff. There's lots of networking opportunities too.
Overall 4.6
This school is only 40 mins from Nashville and a bus even runs to and from campus. The town is small yes, but it's growing at a somewhat rapid pace and MTSU is growing right along with it. It's not a massive campus at all, but I wouldn't say it's exactly small either. Professors are knowledgable and staff actually cares! I highly recommend it!
Bad reviews
Overall 1.6
While the school is loved by locals, it leaves much to be desired. It's expensive and half the academic buildings are outdated. It is extremely difficult to find anything healthy to eat. Trying to take classes within your actual program is also difficult and most classes you end up taking are electives. Do not come here if you have choice.

just a boring campus
Overall 1.8
Frats&sororities here are sad. Dorms for anyone but freshmen are old & small, but at least they're quiet. Parking sucks, even near the dorms it can be hard to find parking. Lots of the professors are not good teachers, but I've had a few good ones. Food here SUCKS. Its either fast food or food poisoning from McCallie's. Overall, disappointing.
Overall 1.9
Murfreesboro is pretty boring town. It is close to nashville though if you want real fun. Campus shuts down at night and its hard to make friends in class because so many people are adults going back to school. Unless you are in greek life or know someone in greek life social scene is pretty limited.
Overall 2
The location is awful because it is in the middle of Murfreesboro (aka the city containing the worst drivers known to man). Parking on campus sucks. You would have to get to campus super early in the morning just to get a parking spot. Food is mediocre and expensive. The teachers I have had aren't engaging/unorganized/don't know what they are doing
Overall 2
MTSU is average in almost every way and exceptional in almost no way. There is very little appealing about this school. This place is just dreary. It honestly feels more like a community college, as most everyone commutes (over 80% of students). The food on campus is very bad. I would describe MTSU as the Walmart of schools in Tennessee.
