You will definitely have an amazing time here! Highly recommend!
Overall 4.5
MIIS offers a wealth of opportunities for internships, networking, and hands-on experiences with international organizations, which is a huge advantage for students. The social scene is vibrant, with lots of events and activities to meet new people. Monterey is also a beautiful and safe place to study. Local people are nice and welcoming. Love it!
Overall 4.3
The school is great in terms of the pedagogy and the experience of the professors. In addition, most of the students body, both national and international, have work experience and speak many languages which make the campus more culturally diverse and rich. I recommend the school for students who know what they are looking for.
Overall 4.1
The translation/interpretation program is rigorous yet worthwhile!

Okay, so this hole is riding on the Middlebury name but it's got an acceptance rate of 70%, like for a graduate school that's embarrassing. AND the TESOL department is not worth money at all. 100k to be a community college teacher? You'd have to be insane, rich and stupid to attend MIIS knowing, like you do now, it's NO Middlebury.
