This is for real the best school. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The professors are amazing at what they do, and it is a very affordable education. I highly recommend to anybody out there.

Best experience ever!!
Overall 4.9
I absolutely loved my time here at MSU! I am a perfectionist & very hard on myself, but the Professors here taught me that it is ok to make mistakes, it is ok to not have prefect scores all of the time. I had Professors that actually cared about me & my success. I couldn't have asked for a better University nor Professors. Thank you MSU! #gostangs

I love that the walking distance from all buildings on campus is about 10 minutes. The main buildings are connected and make it easy to travel between buildings. Parking has been good for me and is clearly marked. The library is a great place to study and has lots of options for seating, individual and group study. Fantastic professors.

It's the Northwestern of the Midwest of Texas.
Overall 4.4
Pretty good School, Professors are pretty good and most try to make it a fun experience even in the most boring subjects.
Always activities going on, it is hard getting to know how to find out about all them.
The only bad thing is the food is terrible in the cafeteria, its actually cheaper to go out to a local eatery and get a good meal.

This school is just awesome

I love MSU. It's not big but it's not small. You kind of just have to make it how you want, but if you go out and be social then you'll have the best time here.
Overall 4.3
Awesome! My first semester here was great, I really didn't have any problems adjusting or finding friends. Food could improve and parking too, but they're working on it. MSU is like a miniature Standford(my father went there). Dorms could improve but apartments are luxurious and fully furnished. Professors are caring. Financial aid is quick. Go MSU

Great school!! I attended for my music for me. I studied with Dr John Maxwel- one of the greatest teachers of voice and pedagogy.

campus is ugly and unsafe, you don't really know anyone unless you're in greek life or sports, housing is awful and gross, and administration doesn't take issues like sexual assault/harassment seriously. the overall vibe of the campus is that no one actually cares about themselves or their academics. also the food sucks.
Overall 1.3
Look, if you're into the whole small town, party school vibe then you might be okay, but it gets old quick because it's such a small school. There's nothing to do in town other than **extracurricular activities** take from that what you will. Its cheap so thats a plus I guess, but you can also tell its cheap. Get an apartment or Legacy if you can.
Overall 1.4
Look, if you're down for the whole small town, party school vibe you might like it. Join a sorority/frat or a sport and you might have a good social life. Theres not much to do in town other than **extracurricular activities** take from that what you will. It's a cheap school and you can definitely tell. Try to stay in the apartments or Legacy.
Overall 1.5
MSU does a poor job of delivering a learning environment. A majority of the professors show that they are truly in it for the pay stubs. The way the university handles academic issues in the class room is comical. They send you through a appeal system that leaves you with no answers. This school was a big mistake for my life.
Overall 1.6
Administration is very much lacking here. Rules and regulations flex from student to student so be careful as they tend to make the rules up as they go. Professors act more like teenagers and love getting in on the drama. Small town feel so very safe but your stuff will get stolen if left alone for a bathroom break.
Overall 1.7
Pigeon crap. Inedible cafeteria that sprays pizza dough with pan coating (?!?!?!) and lathers the rest of the food in butter. Disgusting dorms.

If your looking to lay low and under the radar come here
Overall 1.9
There's nothing good to eat or do unless you're willing to drive 2hrs.

This school is very boring. Not alot of student activities at all. Our homecoming week was only for alumni. Housing is mediocre and the people aren't at all friendly here. They're all uppity and act like Wichita Falls is the only place in Texas. I was so excited to come here but I ended up being miserable by the time November came around.

Campus is not pretty at all, and the campus life sucks. But greek life is good and as long as you make friends you'll be fine.
