MIAD is my favorite place to be. I'm not super involved in clubs but many of my friends are and they all love it. The faculty is great and owns up to mistakes when called out by the student body. Surrounded by restaurants, shops, etc. The immediate area is super safe. The common areas are my favoritessuper fun to hang out! ILL studios are amazing.

Love it here! Always seems to have more and more to offer.

The classes are small and personal and all of your professors will know your name. In the Fine Art department, the other students are competition, they are peers. This is the third college I've been to and by far the best.

Looking back at my time at MIAD is bittersweet. A few things that were big selling points for me at the time were non existent in reality. This school is very expensive and for the same price you could go to MCAD, RISD, or KCAI, which are all way better. Teachers will insult your intellegence and you will not get a job in any place other then WI.

dont go here expensive and impractical
Overall 2
Awful food, awful wifi, drowning in homework, literally had to check myself into inpatient because of a breakdown and burnout I had from all the schoolwork. They also didn't use to check IDs at the front desk and still sometimes don't, this was put in place after an intruder got into the building twice and went to classes pretending to shoot people
Overall 2
MIAD is great, if you are going for design. Fine art department gets defunded every year, and they have increasingly gotten worse at accommodating and listening to their students and their needs, focusing in improving only their design department. While the professors are wonderful in the Fine Art Program, highly recommend looking elsewhere.
