MCAD is a very nice undergraduate school. Faculty genuinely cares about their students and the staff does too. You can tell they are overworked and underpaid though... maybe pay your staff? I had many opportunities here, and they are available for every student if you look for them, it is not hard. One flaw is the food though. At best it's a 6/10.

Don't be fooled. This is the absolute hardest I have ever worked in my entire life. I have an average of 65 hours or so of homework per week... outside of class. I have 21 hours of class time per week as well. The professors have forced me to work my absolute hardest on everything, and I have learned more in the first week than my entire 18 years.

Great school and professors and students. Right next to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Amazing places to eat. Expensive, but worth it.
Overall 4.1
Pricey but worth it. Put in the work and you'll get results. Not a school to be in if you're not serious. Don't slack, go to class. You don't need to spend a lot of money on supplies, there are options for free or dirt cheap stuff.

My experience is with the graduate program. Would not recommend. The building is not heated has environmental issues. Very closed minded teaching and learning environment. Peers copy your ideas and at critiques will talk down on you and your work.
