Great location with lots to do!
Overall 5
Great university, one of the best in US
Overall 4.9
Mankato State is a D2 school with the facilities and opportunities of a D1 school. I have found that Mankato has all you need within a small radius. A huge mall, many restaurants, many gyms, hiking trails, and all the stores you could imagine or need. Living arrangements are fair and available. Not to mention... student life is SO fun.
Go Mavs.
Overall 4.9
MNSU is a great value school that can get you where you want to go. I don't regret going here.
Overall 4.8
Great school with a good education available. Very accommodating due to illness or emergencies.
Overall 4.7
The size of the campus is absolutely perfect. Free admission to all sporting events for students, many clubs and opportunities to meet new people and be social. Never had a bad professor
Overall 4.7
Love this university as a whole. I feel like a good majority of the professors and staff here genuinely care for you and are friendly. The campus is small, which makes walking to classes easier (especially when you have back to back classes) and the bussing arrangements are very convenient. There is always a place to sit down and do homework.
Overall 4.7
I transferred here after attending a school that had nothing to do! I love that the city has different opportunities but you also feel like you have your own community as a student population. It's super easy to get to know people and figure out where you're going. I love it here and Mankato has become my new home.
Overall 4.6
Great campus, great city, lots of great professors and plenty to do. Definitely make some good friends and you'll have a great college experience.
Bad reviews
Overall 1
I could not find any true friends and a good group of people to be around! This is affecting my schooling because I am depressed more and see how other people are with friends but I am that guy who sits by himself in CSU or Library! The resources suck here! Way over priced for what you get from this university!
Overall 1.5
If you like small class sizes it's a great school. Also if you really enjoy the amount of sexual assault emails from something happening in preska, j sears, and 100% corcofski feel free to come here. We had 10 emails in the first month of this semester. It is the worst place to send your kids.
Overall 1.8
I am a senior and I still have one more year. I have made no true friends here. Every person I have met is 2 faced. Faculty is ok but I have no one to hang out with at this university. I hate it at this university. Mankato MN itself is cheap place to live but the University life is not good at all! Thanks
