I love this school so incredibly much--academically and socially.

Starkville is a little outdated, but I don't think that should be held against MSU! Great clubs, Panhellenic community, and tons of career opportunities.

This school should honestly be considered a for profit University. The professors are only here for research, and the deans/advisors could not give less of a crap about you. All of this is coming from someone with a 3.4 GPA while enrolled in the Bagley College of Engineering.

Worst school I’ve ever been to. Starkville in a whole is just ghetto and nothing to do besides get drunk on the weekends
Overall 1.7
few opportunities for fun that isnt frat parties. they sell more parking passes than they have spots. games close down the campus during the week. nothing to do in town. homophobic speakers that slutshame & yell at students, when asked to state the speakers could not harass students, the university declined. if youre LGBTQ, you wont be safe here

I can’t stand this school. You’re lucky if you get a good teacher in your major that truly cares to provide good education. The facilities are also meh. Most of the buildings are old and gross. The school puts most of their money and care towards the sports teams. & good luck with parking, not many spots and they will ticket you for anything.

There is nothing to do in Starkville. Seriously, one movie theatre and that's it. Very very small town and no opportunities for after college. I wish I had gone somewhere else. Very hard to meet people and make friends if you're not in a sorority. No diversity whatsoever. I was extremely unhappy here.
