Monmouth is gorgeous! Lots of great clubs, decent food, and a good sense of community. First Year Advising are all literal angels. Professors are great, and my friends who have graduated all got jobs. 10/10 recommend.

The best school ever.

Monmouth isn't all its cracked up to be. If you roam campus as a geed, there is no social life. You can rush a frat or a sorority, but that's your only chance of having a social life. One of my favorite places on campus is the commuter lounge located on the second floor of the student center. It is a great place to mingle with other geeds like me.

Social Life: Greek life is huge and if you like to party that's your way in.

LOVE Monmouth, its what you make out of it!! If you aren't good at making friends and talking to people. Don't go here. If you want diversity and weird niche things, don't go here, go to Temple or somewhere in the city. If you are a cool person and people tend to like you then you'll thrive here!!
Overall 4.8
Very safe campus. Food is good for the most part, sushi and pizza are always my go-to if the dining hall is looking a little sad that day. The STU always has reliable food. This school is amazing if you on a sports team otherwise I could see it being hard to find somewhere to fit in.
Overall 4.7
I have nothing negative to say about this campus. I love the atmosphere, location (especially if youre an ocean advocate), etc. they treat veterans like kings/queens and they have services all over to support you in academia. It is a well respected regionally ranked university at #28 in 2019 and it would be higher if it were up to me.
Overall 4.6
Beautiful location and campus. Close to New York and a mile from the beach. You actually get professors teaching you versus just being a number in a system at a large school. Professors challenge you and want you to succeed. Division I athletics. Basketball team has had amazing wins over numerous power conference schools in the past 10 years.

Met great people here especially being involved in greek life. Beautiful school, not too big or small and close to the beach I love going here!

As non-traditional Student switching careers, I would encourage parents to avoid this school. School systems are just another business and the money spent here does not add up to the education you will receive. I would encourage parents to save your money and take your business elsewhere.
Overall 1.4
Unless you enter this school as a freshman, you will be on your own the entire time. It is a waste of money and time because this school helps with absolutely nothing. Apply and attend at your own risk. Be prepared to encounter subpar teachers, no variety of classes, and no help finding a position.
Overall 1.6
This school is awful. Nothing like what it appears to be. If you aren't into partying, greek life, or sports don't go here. That's all this school is about. Professors are average at most and campus is very small. Not a lot of opportunities for clubs since they mostly all meet during the meeting period on wednesday's.
Overall 1.7
This is the worst school ever. Monmouth does nothing to help they are late with everything. The school is so small and has absolutely nothing going on. I asked them to send me transcripts and it took them a month. If you want a life and to do well in school and have a life do not go to Monmouth.

I am writing this anonymously years after graduation. I seriously regret going here and not transferring out. You won’t make friends, won’t receive support from professors, and won’t be given any tools to succeed in life. Post graduation they will not help you, only harass you for donations. I left here with nothing gained and regret it daily

average school with not much going on and an equally average student body. come here if going home on weekends is your thing
