I've been attending MVC since I was in the Middle College program. I've had a rough time w/ college & trying to figure it out on my own. Until I got involved w/ getting a job in the Outreach department, applying for the Athena program, & joining EOPS, that's when I knew MVC is on your team. Staff wants to see you graduate & the campus is beautiful!

This is my first time at an in-person college in my years of college, I transferred here from MSJC. I am having such an amazing experience here. The counseling department is amazing, I can talk to someone face to face instantly and get great quality help. Great tutoring department. Professors WANT to see you succeed!! Great free groceries program.

This school has instructors that are out of touch with the current and future job market. Teachers read from PP Slides that are available to students instead of adding to lectures. The campus is very few buildings, many portables. Hard to justify in person class when assignments and tests are online. The lack of quality is obvious and sad. Run.

Do you really want to have classes that rate difficulty of 1 or 2?? These types of classes dont challenge the students. does the teacher really have enough education to be teaching and are they still working in the field to maintain their knowledge? Can just anyone be a teacher here? Moreno Valley CC

The dental hygiene program is a complete waste of time. The director claims she cares about you and will help you with anything but once you confide in her she will tell you to ask a different teacher and refuses to do her job or to help you. Such a ridiculous program with the worst teachers who intentionally make your life and the program hard.
Overall 1
Dental Hygiene Program is EVIL! They will make you not want to be a DH anymore. None of the teachers grade fairly. They are very mean, rude, and unprofessional. Dont waste your time with this program. Its cheap for a reason. You will be better off paying for University programs then this crappy excuse of an educational setting. DONT DO IT!!
Overall 1
DH program sucks! They talk badly about the dental assistant program that they share a clinic with. They talk badly about all dental assistants in general and for some reason they all feel that DAs are invalid in a dental office. So whatever you do DONT let any of the teachers know that you were or are a DA previously to entering the program.
Overall 1
The worst DH program. The so-called teachers refuse to teach. The programs philosophy is for students to teach and learn everything themselves. You will have to heavily rely on textbooks, youtube, and google. The teachers will not show or help you with anything & dont even think about asking any type of questions. You will be told go figure it out.

DENTAL HYGIENE PROGRAM: The worst program and people ever. The teachers are the most unprofessional humans out there. DO NOT for any reason at all every ask any questions in or out of class. They will not answer them and if they do they will tell you to go look it up yourself. Heavy eye rolling, rude comments/feedback on hw, not real teachers.

I have had the worst experience ever with this school. I transfered from another college in Los Angeles and was told to not attend here. I wish I had listened. Stay a way from here
Overall 1.2
this is the worst school to attend. They are not organized and this can ruin a person's life. I waited for my degree and didn't get it till 6 months after, the office never said anything and when I inquired they were very rude and dumb founded. And the worst part is there number transfers you to another college.

I came here to look for classes to take to transfer me into a university but the teaching faculty really does not make a n effort in helping students given that I gad to retake the same class 2 times.
