Mt. Hood is my first school in the United States, and it has been perfect so far. I love studying here, for all professors that I had so far are amazing, supporting, and encouraging. I'll be here for only 2 years before I transfer to PSU. Thanks for everything

MHCC is a great college for anyone who not only wants to save money, but also wants to have a great learning experience. The staff here are great, the teachers are even better, and there is absolutely tons to do. The internet is great as well and of course you already know the food is high quality. Overall a great school that I highly recommend.

Mount Hood Community College is an amazing school. I enrolled in the maintenance and light repair program taught by Steve Johnston and I am living proof that the program is a success. I was not only able to obtain a well paying job but I walked away with so much knowledge and skill that I can apply to more than just my Automotive career.

This is a great school with high-quality instructors who genuinely care about their students. All of the courses I took here prepared me not only for nursing school at the bachelor's level, but for getting my MSN in nursing as well. Doing my prereqs here was the best decision I made!

Mhcc has been one of the best experiences of my life.

Im happy to be leaving this school soon and never returning. Just wants to steal your money and waste your time.
Overall 1.1
Don't go here if you dont have too.
Overall 1.4
Most of the people that go here are weirdos, or old people who are "finishing up" their degrees. Or people that work and can't afford universities like me. Also, the financial aid dept. is a joke. They don't communicate with you, or help you get your money. It is easily the most stressful thing I've ever dealt with. Go somewhere else.
Overall 1.7
Seems like the counselors and some professors just don't care.
Overall 1.8
Terrible teachers almost across the board. Excessive busy work and pointless grading systems.
Overall 1.8
MHCC is a pretty campus but looks have nothing to do with getting a quality edu. Teachers are hit and miss, admin isn't polite. Very low-budget, dated feel, books especially. Restrooms are gross except by the bookstore. Good place to save money, but if you plan to transfer or get a quality education, PCC isn't far from here.

Double check your FA, and be knowledgeable about your own FA. Teachers have been ok, a few are a little lackluster. Engineering specific, but be prepared to be mushed with students who are WAY above your level, one of my lab partners had a physics degree already in a introduction class. Socially dead, mostly due to very few on campus activities.
