Beautiful campus, excellent faculty and programs.
Overall 4.2
I love MCC. A lot of people from high school didn't want to go here, but honestly, it's really nice. Everyone I have met in offices or other areas of the college have been amazing. I love the area and it's beautiful with the pond area. I love looking at all the Koi in the pond thing.
Overall 4.2
The teachers are very nice, and I can tell that they love what they do.

The stunning architecture of the institution is breathtaking. This community college is remarkable because of the helpful professors, the Koi pond's calming atmosphere, and the natural trails. I am thankful for the opportunity to go here before transferring to a four-year university.

Horrible. don't do it!

They protect the teachers who are verbally abusive and condescending . .
Overall 1.3
Rather be in debt for the rest of my life then take another class at this college. The staff is a joke, from the welcome center, to finanicial aid, to the teachers... horrible. Never delt with such idiotic people.
Overall 1.4
Only go here if you have the Promise and want to get general education credits done with. Avoid at all costs if you don't. The professors here hold you to a high standard and aren't very friendly people and generally don't care about you. The classes are ridiculously hard if you have a social life or a job. Do not recommend, made me depressed here.
Overall 1.4
If I can save even one student from the horror that is attending Muskegon Community College i have done my job. I started attending in Fall 2019 and since then have been treated absolutely horribly by staff SPECIFICALLY the financial aid and bookstore departments. The staff are all completely sick of being alive and take it out on students.

The school is terrible but cheap
Overall 1.5
For a small town community college, it's okay. They keep raising tuition, and I don't see the value of my education increasing correspondingly. It's nothing special, but a good place to start if you don't know what you want to do.
Overall 1.6
Some of the staff should be let go and it does not even feel like i'm in college, but in an adult high school. The board should really consider making some drastic changes...
Overall 1.7
The school is fine to get your basics done and save money but when it comes to making new friends and memories there are very little opportunity to do so. The campus is alright, parking and internet could be better. Some windows appear to have gunshots through them and that is a bit off putting.
Overall 1.7
I feel like the quality of the education is almost non existent. So glad to be moving on!
