A great place to learn!
Overall 5
Great opportunity, and a great education. I currently work for Google in NYC, and I think it's a result of the NYU name. Got an interview with TESLA but turned them down since I already accepted Google!

Good school for all.

Great Engineering School.

The civil engineering is excellent. One of best courses in this department is Geomatics& GIS In Civil &Environmental Engineering. This course is very useful for both civil and environmental engineering. The professor is extremely patient and helpful. This course is very useful for student. This course help us gain significant skill for work

This the the future of NYU
Overall 4.8
excellent school where there is lot of learning opportunities
Overall 4.5
NYU Tandon has so many opportunities. I got involved with one-on-one research with a professor within my first month of being on campus and that has gotten me 4 internships THAT I DIDNT APPLY FOR!!! Food kinda sucks, but professors are great and research opportunities NEVER END! Great resume builders. Also, Courant recently paired with Tandon!
Bad reviews
Overall 1
No campus, very small school
Overall 1.3
Decent wifi is the only good thing about Tandon. Everything else is either mediocre, sub-par, or atrocious.
Overall 1.4
For how much money that they say alums are pouring into this school you'd think we be able to see some improvements, but it's still just Poly Tech with the NYU logo slapped on it. I didn't feel like a "real" NYU student going here, and it felt so socially isolating here that many choose to live on the manhattan campus by their sophmore year.
Overall 1.4
The Internet is always dying in the elevator. Can't leave the building without internet dropping. There are limited choices of food. It's super expensive too. It's also really bad. Also public safety here sucks. Kids get mugged and they just file a police report and that's it. No further action is taken. Kids are only here for the NYU name
Overall 1.5
Not the best school, social life is dry, education is lack luster, people here are so focused on school and do not care about anything else. You have so much typical "nerds" here the ones that you think of when you see TV shows with the nerds. It is a hoard of outcasts. Most professors are just horrible. Good luck!
Overall 1.5
This school is such a drop off from the main NYU. The school is uninspiring and the professors at least the ones that I have had are very bad. I am a freshmen and the life here sucks. Being a commuter also makes it hard but it just seems as if Tandon makes it harder. I have lots of friends over at the main campus but not at Tandon.
Overall 1.7
Horrible classes but since it's in metrotech it compensates!
Overall 1.9
I attended tandon school of engineering as phd student, from the very first meeting with my advisor was threatening to cut my financial support if I do not publish papers. Most times of the year he was on trips and every time we met he was telling I will not let you graduate and was just stressing me.
Overall 2
Professors are case by case, but at least half of them are uncooperative, giving low grades without reasons. Students also have less communication with each other. Feels safe but definitely unsafe compared to the Washington Square campus. Courses aren't offered as much as you'd expect.
Overall 2
If you have to pay full price, do not come. It is not worth the money. This is Poly with NYU's logo and price tag slapped on. Multiple professors have demonstrated to me they do not have time for students questions. They only care about research. The food is horrible, as are facilities. There's a nice gym though. Wash. square is better.
