If your goal in life is to get into med school, Newman is perfect for you. NU is VERY good at getting people into med school. However, that's all it has going for it. As a minority, I felt unwelcome. The school is extremely catholic and conservative. There is not a lot of social life even if you live on campus. People can be snobby and dismissive.

The Nursing program was full of unsupportive professors that actively tryed to kick students out. The professors keep changing every few years so theres obviously a problem. I would never recommend their Nursing program. There are a few passionate teachers at this school but none of them are in the Nursing program.

The way this school treat the business department is a joke. While most of the business professors are great there is no networking to companies. Go elsewhere if looking for a business degree.
