NIC is an amazing community college. I had a great time here, doing my post-secondary education. All the instructors I had were extremely accommodating, and with all the resources available, you are definitely set up to succeed. I accessed the writing center, and library for help with assignments when needed it. I highly recommend NIC!
Overall 4.5
Great place to go to school! One odd thing tho the college I directly connected to a high school. So there's a mix of highschool students and college students everywhere. Makes for an interesting atmosphere.
Overall 4
Great school. Welcoming atmosphere, beautiful location in Comox Valley and Campbell River. Feels very safe and clean at all times. The faculty in the DGL programs are seriously amazing, its clear they care about the students!

Overall 1.3
went for electrical studies for the trade. the teacher was impressed with my math skills and helped others around the class. now when it comes to hands on i have little experience so i assumed id get some help. I didn't, at all, whatso ever. he just sat around and did paper work while safety wasn't a concern around the class. ended up leaving.
Overall 1.8
North island college is the worst school Ive ever been to. Instructors and faculty are little to no help. Spent the last year teaching myself because the instructors do not care at all. I would never recommend this god awful place to anyone. Instructors are rude, careless and clearly are only here for the paycheque. 10/10 would not recommend.
