Overall 4.8
Very good school.Because it’s a community school the classes are smaller. This allows you more one on one time if need be with professors.Professors are good at responding in a timely manner and helping in anyway they can.The campus is always busy with fun activities or food trucksHighly recommend
Overall 4.8
It is like a family. There is unlimited support in any areas that you need it. I hated to leave when I graduated.
Overall 4.8
Everyone here is truly amazing. There arent enough words to describe the positivity that comes flowing in this environment.
Overall 4.8
after returning to school with a 10 year gap, this school has been SO helpful and great.
Overall 4.7
Fantastic place, all my professors have been super helpful if I've had questions. Finding the right advisor in my program also helped a lot. Everyone is very friendly the classes are well paced and understandable.

Great school!!
Overall 4.5
I like this school! It’s pretty small but they do a good job of having a lot of different opportunities for the students.
Overall 4.5
I attend the Kingsport Campus. A great school with a great staff who do all that they can to help students. Hopefully soon everything offered at the main campus will be offered at the Kingsport Campus. Love it!!!
Overall 4.5
This college provides a wonderful learning environment with encouraging staff for a great price.
Overall 4.4
A school that focuses on the right amount of teaching vs. helping you understand the core concepts of the courses you are in. This can be seen with my overwhelming amount of help that came with many different classes I took over my time at Northeast. Very glad to have become a past student at this location. Would recommend 10/10

Horrible place, just High school all over again. Financial Aid is a nightmare and they steal your money! Registering is a pain and Financial Aid is HORRIFIC! Move on to ETSU and get a REAL education!
Overall 1.4
Unless you plan on obtaining your degree from Northeast State, so NOT waste your time! Go on to ETSU, UT, KING, or Milligan! Northeast State is just a glorified High School. Unless you are a stellar 4.0 student you WILL be placed in remedial classes, that is how they make money, total waste of time!
Overall 1.5
Like most schools, it's all about the money.
Overall 1.6
Quality of instruction is mediocre, and the admin is non-existent. It takes forever to get anything done. It's so unorganized compared to my last school (I relocated and had been attending another community college). I decided to transfer to university early instead of finishing my associate's because this place was such a headache.
Overall 1.6
The school tried charging me $2000.00 extra dollars during my last semester enrolled. I had to go through some big hurdles to get it cleared. Many of the teachers are not up to par. It is a community college that has a sister state university. I would recommend just going to East Tennessee State University if possible. You will end up there anyway
Overall 1.8
The students lack ambition and the teachers are incredibly unhelpful when you are interested in transferring somewhere other than ETSU or UT.
Overall 1.8
thought this was a great college until they shut down the Bristol campus. A campus centered around the Entertainment Technology degree. We had much better opportunities and ease of learning about our field. Now we do not have all that stuff. They say the new technology building will be good but I will be gone by then. My education has been screwed.
Overall 1.9
If you want to be challenged, do not attend this institution. If you want to succeed, do not attend this institution. It appears to be evident that the faculty and administration don't know what they're doing. They know nothing, really. One would be better served driving to Morristown, Greeneville, Sevierville or Tazewell to attend Walters State.
Overall 2
Professors are very hit or miss. If you need help from an office, don't bother. Take 3 days off to go to the school everyday or they will not acknowledge you through email and phone call to repair their mistake or answer a simple question. Horrible staff. Food, eh. Social, everyone is kind of boring. Get in, get out type of college.
