Wonderful weather and trees. Many clubs and opportunities for students to branch out and try new things. Lots of extra sessions to get held in classes. Love it here

I love NAU, living in the honors college freshman year is a must. Even if you drop out of the program after freshman year, it's worth it. The access you get is worth it. The bus system here works well and can get you wherever you need to go both on and off campus. The food is good, but sometimes you may need to wait in line for a little bit.

(PSY) I recently graduated from NAU as a transfer from Southern California, so needless to say this was a pretty big change. Overall I truly love NAU. For me, the big Pros were: great & caring professors, well kept facilities facilities, and Flagstaff is just beautiful. Cons: sparse choice in classes and not much guidance and opportunity for psych.

I'm a current junior who is graduating next semester, and I love my experience at NAU. There's something for everyone here.

Stay away from this school at all costs. It's happy and friendly when you first start but by the time your a senior, they disregard you and treat you like you don't go there.

I hated this school. The teachers made fun of me and I didnt feel safe.

Want a college that you like? FIND A DIFFERENT PLACE! The only good thing about this place is that the mountains are beautiful. Same food everyday, Internet never works, not too great professors and horrible living conditions. The shower has mold want it fixed? Not going to happen. Do your research before coming here. It's not worth it.
Overall 1.5
Over the past year at NAU, I have watched all of the opportunities I had within the political field in Phoenix vanish. There is nothing up here, and it feels like an isolated society with aweful food and opportunities. Despite seeming cheap at first, this university has thrown numerous random fees into my costs, and it was not at all worth it.
Overall 1.6
honestly, choose another school. they dont communicate at all with the students, the professors dont care, the only people who get opportunities are the people in sororities and fraternities.
Overall 1.8
This place is depression in it's most physical form. No sunlight for half of the time here, cold as heck 24/7, unedible food in 3/5 of the dining areas, worthless heating for apartments/dorms, impermanence in good professors. It is so miserable here, I would do everything different if I had the chance again.
Overall 1.9
It's very pricey once they tack on the fees and they don't care about studentd
Overall 1.9
Hit or miss with this school. Some things will be the best you've seen and others are just the worst conditions seen at a university that charges $30k+ a year. Want working internet? Lol no, but here is a multimillion-dollar sports complex right across from the other one! Also, NAUGiving day is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Shame on NAU

If your hobbies include running, hiking, skiing, and bar-hopping downtown- this school is for you. If not, I would suggest looking elsewhere. There's literally nothing to do in Flagstaff and it gets old, fast. Once you get used to the pretty mountains, you're not left with much else. Also, it is very difficult to make friends if you're an introvert
