NSCAD is an amazing university with the perfect blend of professional/critical and artsy/fun. The professors really teach you how to operate and work in the real world. And it opens up so many opportunities and connections for success.

I love this school! Great professors, great classes. I am meeting a lot of people.

None.

most profs need to go through racial sensitivity training, campus is literally falling apart, all your complaints will either be swept under the rug or ignored by faculty. save your money and get a better education at OCAD
Overall 1.7
Surely there are much better alternatives in Canada.
Overall 1.9
Very inaccessible and home to a host of issues including lack of appropriate pay for part time instructors, terrible internship opportunities where no one ever actually checks into the places offering internships (nor do they check in on you as a student at all), and WAAAY overpriced for what it is (most expensive art institute in Canada).
Overall 2
Extremely disappointing overall. I came here from Bealart because my teachers raved about the school. In general, NSCAD is coasting on a long-lost legacy. It's especially bad for illustration (since the minor is gone), but has good art history and paint & print programs. It's just not what I was hoping for.
Overall 2
Other than a few shining stars in the faculty and support personnel, this facility is not living up to the reputation they are using to recruit new students. The bones are there in equipment and space, however the network that would support a student's learning in a meaningful way is disappointingly lacking.
