This was the best decision i have ever made for my future

I'm from Miami and I loved NSU. I commuted to campus an hour every day, it was worth it. I have had trouble making friends before but I immediately felt welcome and made close friends, years later, we are still friends. The faculty and staff are SO friendly. I transferred schools for the academics but I miss NSU every day. The campus is nice too.

This school gives lots of opportunities and people are very very nice, worth coming to school here
Overall 4.8
I have never been happier. Nova has a beautiful campus, many resources, beautiful housing and thousands of opportunities stem from this school.
Overall 4.8
You can see that not one comment talked about the quality of education and opportunities for hands-on learning. If you have not grown out of being spoon-fed by yourself, you will not find a parent to feed you there. this is a school that has expectations of maturity and responsibility and time management, as in the real world.
Overall 4.8
I loved going to NSU undergrad so much that I decided to attend graduate school there as well. A beautiful campus with faculty that wants you to succeed. The dorms are arguably some of the best in the country (The Commons & Mako Hall) A great experience all around.

This school has had a great reputation but as going there, I realized it isn't really accepting and understanding to everyone. commuters have hard times finding classes with a reasonable schedule. and with the price of the school they don't make it east to find a job with these ridiculous schedules.

Masters in Anesthesia program is like a hazing event. Professors could care less about student learning. No cadaver labs, and anesthesia lab equipment is broken. Exams test on clinical situations not even discussed or learned. 5 different professors for anatomy, figure it out on your own mentality and hope to just pass the minimum of 70.

AVOID NOVA NURSING. Professor was also my advisor & the dept head. She targeted me & when I tried to get help from other professors, dean of nursing, provost, no help came. In her last email to me, she included an attachment that there was no reason for. When I opened it, there was an image that looked like a gun scope w/ a compass on it. Scary.

Avoid the MSBS with a concentration in Health Sciences like the plague. 95% of the professors are horrible and do not care about you or your future. The fall semester is something out of a horror story. I've heard that med school is easier than this program. Class of 2019-2020 came in with 20-30 students & only 10 graduated & it's stated nowhere.
Overall 1.7
The Doctor of Physical Therapy program is a joke. Administration is unorganized and will lie to your face. Students get no respect and no voice. Tons of busy work for no reason. Cant justify the price tag go somewhere else unless this is your only option.
Overall 1.8
Honestly the staff here sucks they don’t tend to help out and they’re so slow processing information. the environment is whatever there’s not much to do here it sucks. i hate it
Overall 1.8
Horrible professors (mean, disrespectful, and arrogant) with a few gems mixed in. This law school doesnt even have the respect of most of its students, let alone non-alumni employers.
Overall 1.8
If you are thinking of going to graduate school in psychology, stay away. There are only 2-3 professors who will acknowledge your existence and respect you. It, too, is very very expensive and you will graduate, especially in the Doctorate Program, not knowing what you are doing as a therapist except for those 2-3 professors.

The Master of Biological Sciences program is the worst possible thing. DO NOT DO IT THEY WANT YOU TO FAIL AND IT WILL RUIN ALL FUTURE CAREER CHOICES FOR YOU.
