Just amazing
Overall 5
Nice campus. However, as a student who pursue a career in the health field, I felt sad because this campus does not offer a common health career program except nursing.

I just love Oakton Community College. They have well organised staff and instructor and it is very safe and affordable college.
Overall 4.7
Such a welcoming environment and everyone wants to see you succeed:)
Overall 4.7
Great community college. Completed pre-reqs here and joined their Nursing Program. The Lee Center (new science building) is top notch and a huge asset to this campus. You get what you put in I believe. This college has everything you need to start your future off right. Very affordable prices and nearly all of my instructors care for the students.
Overall 4.7
It is a great school to attend and save money. Prepares you to the next level if you are planning on transferring. You will come across great professors who are willing to help you if they see you putting effort and time into the subject. There are a lot of resources that will help you succeed. I have had a great experience at Oakton.

Could not have chose a better Junior College
Overall 4.5
This community college is the perfect opportunity who is really willing to do what it takes in order follow own unleashing and momentum-gaining urge to pursue own dreams. If you make effort in choosing good professors; they will change ur life with their rational, mind-blowing, and ivy-league mindset and commitment. Nothing as much as resources!!!

Teachers in nursing program are old fashion; hard to keep up with technology and most of them are playing favorites; Absolutely no respect for students and treat us like we are some children from 1st grade; no way you can know your schedule some time ahead to make arrangements for babysitting for students who have children;

Overall, Oakton College is an average school and it is better to spend money at a university.Professors are subpar and Career and Transfer Center staff and resources are lacking. They are rude and not polite and just do not work. It is better to "put your money where your mouth is" and get a better education. The college staff needs more training.
Overall 1.2
Nursing department needs a makeover in regards to teachers who teach classes, as well as taking in consideration students' opinions in regards to classes and schedules.
Overall 1.2

It's my third semester at this school and I can't wait to leave. The professors do not teach you anything, everything is self taught and they can't wait to fail you.The school is very depressing and there is nowhere to study. Food, clubs and the campus overall sucks. The advisors do not know what they're talking about and neither does anyone else.
Overall 1.4
I hate this school. I wish I would have gone to Harper.
Overall 1.5
There are few real options for transfer. The school doesn't put much effort into helping students find appropriate transfer schools, much less get into them. There are a couple of pathways programs, but they tend to be for a very small subset of students (students who just graduated high school AND have great GPAs AND a specific major.)
Overall 1.6
When my mother died, the school denied my request to drop classes, or to make up the work I missed while burying her. It negatively impacted my GPA, my transferability, and my scholarship potential. Why so Cruel? If you don't remember to bring a reusable bottle from home, your only drink option is small sips of water from the fountain, all day.
Overall 1.7
ABSOLUTELY disappointed. Comparing our graduation to other community colleges left me feeling like Oakton does not care about their students. In addition, I do not feel prepared for my career. I regret my decision to select Oakton. The school must work on their communication skills. I would only recommend this school if your only concern is cost.
Overall 1.7
Some of the professors conduct themselves inappropriately. Others just don't care, and don't bother to teach/help students. Some teachers are really great though. I've already run into a few situations where I basically got ripped off though. This place is way overpriced for what you get.
