Staff in the student services office are usually pretty rude and reluctant to help you. Calling them by phone for help is useless. If you want to get anything done you must go there in person and even then it's still hard. There's not many good or useful degrees unless you're interested in the nursing program or maybe the early childhood program.

Image trumps substance by a WIDE margin at OUS, and the profs who typically get accolades are generally among the more undeserving of them. These teachers are generally the ones who are well connected in the community. As one of the more successful grads, I'm still having a difficult time finding a job. It's cheap, though. You get what you pay for.
