From June 2020 to July 2023 for 10 consecutive semesters, I am a graduate of Ohlone College! This college seemed very good to me prior to transferring to California State University, East Bay from Fall 2023 to now on. Got an A.A. in Human Development in Spring 2023, and now majoring in Sociology B.A. at East Bay for my new life and future.

One of the best community colleges.

Ohlone College is only getting better and better. Teachers and counselors are great and both Fremont and Newark campuses have many improvements . Lots of services and clubs - plenty to do. My only complaint is the food. Cafeteria needs a facelift and the food choices are lacking and low quality.

It's a great college

It’s a great place. The professors are encouraging and helpful. It’s a small community and everyone is extremely welcoming and kind. It’s so peaceful.

The most unorganized, selfish, despicable pathetic excuse of a "college". I had more direction and commitment from educators, counselors, and staff at a public highschool then this institution that I have to pay for. Too many"professors" with laughable rates on here still employed, staff is rude and unhelpful in every department, counselors have no clue.

No food except for the trucks, which cost 7 dollars for fries and 4 dollars for 1 taco if your lucky. 10 to 17 dollars for a lunch. The machines cost 200% over store retail prices and sometimes keep your money with-out getting what you paid for (2 out of 5 times for me. long walks to get around construction. Students need food to work and study?

Nice hills around campus, very unorganized accommodation facility, counselor are helpful though.

The campus is labyrinth due to construction, Accommodations office request for note takers some times is lost in the processes and you can get behind if you need one. Math lab needs more tutors when you have to hold your hand up for over 20 minutes. Food is better of campus but the schools is edible.

It is so difficult to get classes, this place is trash
Overall 1.1
If you are an older student with a disability get ready to experience ageism, I was lied to and mislead many times. dropped a class because the instructor took over 3 weeks to answer an assignment question. I have been told to go to Chabot College if I wanted better accommodations for disabilities, that should have been a warning to me.
Overall 1.2
Good transferring record, but the construction noise during class and especially during exams are really mind racking. Food is bland most times but good eats down the street. Spending your cash on books that are not used is a drag.
Overall 1.2
Enough parking spaces but traffic sometimes is horrendous. Check the dates on prepackaged food in the cafe. Staff is a hit and miss, but when you find the competent employee stick with them. You can tell which professors have obtained tenure and which are working hard at it. Conservative students!
Overall 1.3
I was told that if I wanted guarantied accommodations that I should go to another better suited community college, they seemed comfortable shrugging their shoulders. Since I made a complaint twice, Ohlone has denied me my graduation certificate, even though I it's been TWO semesters passed and there are no holds of any kind, they are spiteful.
Overall 1.3
All the construction and noise during classes could be bothersome. The campus id messy sometimes and lighting at the bottom parking is dim. counselor sometimes forget and/or don't now what they have to offer and you have to show them or prod them for paper work. I have had some really lazy professors with and lack of interest in their own class.
