Good reviews

Can't speak much about all programs available, but a great school for engineering and tech-related programs. Amazing professors that really care about their students and provide interactive learning opportunities through advanced technologies and interesting project opportunities. Really good resources, clubs, teams, and location.

I am having a wonderful time with Ontario Tech University so far. Very underrated and under the radar university, with some excellent professors and some very innovative and cutting-edge programs.

its an aweful school, with useless course content that will not help you in your career what so ever, its still smalls so no one cares about your degree there. all teachers there are subpart at best, all mediovre and none care about you, their classes or any students for that matter wahtsoever
Overall 1.3
disorganized. Never heard of a university that does 2 midterms. Hence why their called MID terms. Needs more study spaces and food options. Some profs are alright; some aren't. Limited amount of TA's. Transferred here because of the co-op opportunities but this was a really big mistake I made.
Overall 1.4
Downtown campus can be sketchy at night, waiting for buses can be sketchy, leave early and do not take late classes unless you have too. Tuition is higher than higher reputation schools, so makes no sense where they are pulling all these extra fees, the quality of education is no higher than UofT or York; but you pay a lot more for it. Upass mndy.
Overall 1.5
One of the worst universities of sll time. This university is like a joke. Very low knowledge profs and students.
Overall 1.6
The food is terrible. There is no place to study. No seats in the library during exam time. I have met some very bad profs and some very good ones. Has more of a college feel to the place.
Overall 1.7
Overall good school, however located in the middle of nowhere. Downtown campus sucks because its like small building that are mixed in with the city businesses. Also there is not much things happening downtown, usually very dull
Overall 1.8
You pay close to $8000 in tuition each year AND THE SCHOOL STILL HAS THE AUDACITY TO TELL STUDENTS NOT WASTE THINGS IN THE LABORATORY DO TO MISTAKES WE MAKE BY ACCIDENT! HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SAY THE EQUIPMENT IS EXPENSIVE AND WE SHOULD'NT USE A LOT OF IT?!? WE PAY FOR THE EQUIPMENT AND YOUR SALARY! New name is complete garbage by the way
Overall 1.8
Not a university. They try. But do not fool yourself. This is a college and not Mit or U of T
Overall 2
This place really isn't worth more than a backup. Has a decent STEM program but outside of that you're holding back your career if OTU is your option. Super boring school otherwise with no social options. Extremely boring clubs and a commuter school with no social atmosphere. Food is bad . Avoid if you are non-stem, there are way better unis
