Student and Staff Numbers

  • Students: The total number of students enrolled at Orange County Community College (SUNY) is approximately 3,983 (credit enrollment) and 4,986 (including part-time and full-time students) as of Fall 2023
  • Undergraduates: The total enrollment at Orange County Community College in 2022, both undergraduate and graduate, is 4,976 students. For undergraduate students specifically, the exact number is not provided in the sources. However, it can be inferred that the majority of these students are undergraduates since the total enrollment includes both undergraduate and graduate students. Therefore, the approximate number of undergraduate students would be around 4,000 to 4,500, given that the total enrollment is 4,976 and assuming a small percentage of graduate students. However, without precise data, this is an approximation. If you need a more precise answer, you would need to look for more detailed enrollment statistics specifically for undergraduate students
  • Academic Staff: The number of academic staff at SUNY Orange is not explicitly stated in the provided sources. However, based on the faculty and staff listings, it appears to be in the hundreds. For example, the catalog lists over 30 faculty members, but this is not a comprehensive list of all academic staff. Therefore, a more accurate range would be: **100+** academic staff
  • Administrative Staff: The provided sources do not explicitly state the total number of administrative staff at SUNY Orange. However, they list various departments and personnel, indicating a significant number of administrative roles. Without specific data, it is difficult to provide an exact number. Therefore, I can only give an approximate range based on the information available: **50-100 administrative staff**. This is a rough estimate and should be taken as a rough approximation rather than an exact figure

The Best School Ever
Overall 4.5
SUNY Orange Community College is a college that is one that may not be the strongest. However, the leadership and communication is what makes OCC a great college. The food could be better without having sugar drinks with bad caffeine. The internet can be unstable due to wherever you are in the building. Some teachers can be hard, but turn out okay

Social Wasteland, Feels like high school except without school spirit and friends. Teachers are alright. Many aren't that great but the good ones really make up for it
Overall 1.3
Great potential for the underserved community. Not a safe area.
Overall 1.4
Almost 99% of the staff here don't seem to care about the students they just "do what they are paid to do and leave." A quote from one of the professors here who everyone actually thought was nice.
Overall 1.4
Took out cafeteria, vending machine food is usually moldy! Professors there are not what they should be!
Overall 1.5
Worst college ever. Want help? Do it yourself. Want to complete something with a faculty member in the student center? Good luck with that. Creepy old men walk around and you dont feel safe with the security being over 50 years old. Dont apply, get as far away from here as you can.
Overall 1.5
Probably the worst community college you could ever go to, the staff are always miserable and rude. Ive only met one lady who was actually nice in the financial aid office. Advising is horrible, an advisor told hurry up cause I have people to see which is crazy. Most of all the book store tops off how trashy this school could be, disgusting.
Overall 1.5
not what people say it is
Overall 1.6
This school is good if you need to take a class to transfer in to another SUNY college, nothing more. This is NOT A REAL COLLEGE EXPERIENCE. Ive been to two other colleges and the only thing this place offers is to take a class here or there nothing more. However I went of a college river boat trip to NYC which was cheep and good.
Overall 1.6
sucks.
Overall 1.7
Worst place to come. This place does not care about you and will not help you. Paper work just thrown at you.
