Great school in a good area
Overall 4.3
Honestly a really great experience here with a huge focus on community
Overall 4.3
On campus safety is great, I always feel safe even as a poc. The professors are fantastic and I love the small class sizes. Buildings can be updated like gauge, and gym. Was intended nursing major but had a mental crisis. Now a comp sci major and enjoying it. I would suggest this school if you like small classes and being close to professors.
Overall 4.2
I really love this school. People think it is in a bad area but when you are on campus it doesn't feel that way. I love the community I have made here and I really enjoy all of my classes. Everyone is so welcoming and I felt like I belonged right away!

PLU is a well distinguished and recognized school for their mainly their academics and programs. This is not a party school, and everyone cares about their grades, but there are 2-5 houses throwing parities every weekend, which gets really lit. Professors are all great, athletics are pretty dang good, and this whole campus is welcoming.

A great and friendly community of people.

I am so happy I chose to come to PLU. I was hesitant at first but it has been amazing. I love the small classes, the fact that the professors really know me and care, and the amazing opportunities provided across the board. There is something for everyone here. I highly recommend studying abroad! I have had many amazing experiences on PLU trips.

Overall a decent school to get into if you're in the area, or if you want to have an adventures college experience because they got so many study away programs and so many clubs. Really big on community. I also noticed that they have a lot of campus security cars now so +1 safety !!
Overall 4
My experience at PLU has been great. Most of the professors in the communication department go above and beyond. I dont think the area is bad at all. I always felt safe as campus safety would alert us if there was a situation around campus. I never even had a car and still enjoyed being on campus. Students are very welcoming

The school recently laid off a bunch of professors, and the programs and students have suffered because of it. The professors seem miserable so they’re not very inspiring, and the leadership seems inadequate. If you’re not going for nursing, don’t waste your money here. You won’t get an in depth education.

I am very glad to be leaving

The nursing program here is a joke. You can no longer choose your clinical placements in the final semester. Run far from here. Lots of whiny kids here that cause drama.
Overall 1.1
Came here for nursing, by far the worst college experience in my life. Horrible program and faculty. Students are very rude and cliquey. Extremely expensive with a low quality education. In a very sketchy area and lack of experiences here. Do yourself a favor and attend any university but here.
Overall 1.2
I was a nursing major and it was the worst experience of my life. Awful classmates and learning experiences here. Extremely racist university, I felt unsafe coming to class everyday. Theres a lot of random middle schoolers on campus too. Food in the cafeteria is not good and everything is outdated here.
Overall 1.2
academics and professors are good, everything else is depressing as hell

Um, yeah...
Overall 1.4
Just choose a different school and do yourself a favor.
Overall 1.4
As a transfer student from another university, the quality of education is lackluster. Classes are small, but a majority of my professors seem disinterested in their students. Very few are passionate about their courses. It's disappointing, and tuition is more expensive. If I wasn't in nursing, I'd leave. Facilities/technology are outdated too.

dont go here
