Great!
Overall 4.5
It is a great school and it was a smooth process throughout. I like that I have a choice to go on campus or take courses online. Love it!

If you have a grievance about any marking or lectures the Dean and the Heads of Departments do take your comments to heart. They will advocate for the student first and then give an outcome with a follow up phone call if necessary. This University sits in a very picturesque location and river. I highly recommend this University.

I am proud to be a recent alum of Park. The new admin seems to take in everyone's opinions and truly work to make it the best it can be. In the past five years there have been new opportunities that in turn make the social, food or academic aspects better and more reflective of our community at park. Park has been choice of my life so far.

The peaceful environment around this beautiful campus creates the right environment for studying and you feel so close to nature! There is always something to do whether it is hiking or running or anything else at all! This is a great place to study!
Overall 4.2
Park is in a small town, so don't expect a bustling City. But it is only 25 min. from the heart of Kansas City where everything you want to find can be Found. Park is a great school in a great location. Small classes and individualized attention!
Overall 4.1
Park is all about what you make it. If you look for opportunities you will find them.

This school is awesome, very affordable with staff that are top notch.
Bad reviews
Overall 0.9
This place is a joke. There is no library (actually the ceiling collapsed). Professors arriving late to class/cancelling classes often. No food option/food is really bad. Everything is old and dirty. Students can't charge laptops in class. The campus is not adapted for wheelchairs. Difficult to find parking. Expect parking tickets. Low quality!
Overall 1.7
Park isn't a place to go if you are looking to have the true college experience. It is very small, and advisers/ finical aid are HORRIBLE about getting back to you,. You're lucky if you get a response. They host few events, not many are fun. They are building a brand new building, but won't update classrooms that need a MAJOR face lift.
Overall 1.7
I would encourage you to get your Writing degree from another campus, perhaps even attending another college altogether to avoid Lolly Ockerstrom. This professor seems to have never left the academic setting and therefore has no concept of how to communicate in the real world. Though she is intelligent she lacks common sense and respect for students.

Park is an okay school. It is fine for those who don't want to stray far from home. There are a few okay faculty members who actually care. One of them being Andrea Lee she bends over backwards to help her students. The buildings on campus are really ran down. I sat in Mackay my freshman year and got dripped on the entire semester.
Overall 2
Registrars, student advisers, academic support staff are woefully inept and inadequate. Not enough money goes to remodel existing buildings. Most is funneled into building up the caves where only certain subjects get taught. If they didn't have my major here, which sadly is mostly online thus limiting my GI Bill benefits I would never choose Park.
