This is a wonderful campus to attend. You can attend this campus and still have a full "Pennsylvania State University" degree. There are a few majors that you can fully complete here.
Overall 4
This campus is great if aren't ready to be away from home for four years. The class sizes are very small; most classes average about twenty students. The professors are very personable and don't treat you like a number, and that's what makes a small campus so nice. The student resources (library, gym, bistro) are also top notch. I love this place.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.3
While the university is safe because it is in the middle of nowhere, it severely lacks student support resources. I would only go here if you live in the area and plan to transfer out.
Overall 1.5
If you're a commuter or socially awkward this is not the school to choose. The strictness of class scheduling made it hard to stay diligent arriving to work on time, resulting in my getting fired. If you commute it pretty much feels like nobody knows you and you're alone with everything.
Overall 1.9
The campus is situated in a pretty bad area, & not much to do. If you are a commuter, there is next to no motivation to stay on campus. Very small, and not many good majors to choose from. 2+2 program is the only reason I went here. Would recommend doing gen-eds somewhere else and transferring to UP directly if possible.
